*Jack's p.o.v*

I laughed for the millionth time in an hour, while Zack rolled his eyes. I don't think he really hates this movie. How can you do that? It's amazing!

"Jack?" Zack asked.

"Um?"

"Are you excited for tomorrow?"

I looked at him, with my most serious face. "Why are you asking that? Of course I'm excited, you big idiot! Why wouldn't I?"

"I don't know... Maybe you didn't want to go with me or..." He sighed. "Whatever, just forget that I asked you something." He sent me a smile, even though I knew he was faking it. What was wrong with him? I shrugged it off and kept watching the movie.

I started thinking about tomorrow. What if I met a cute boy, with great taste in music (well, if he was there he had to have great taste in it, right?), funny and... gay? I imagined lots of posibilites, things I could say to them, and suddenly, I was met by my sleep.


"ZACK! ZAACK! TODAAAY!" I yelled, running around my room like a child. My friend groaned, and put my pillow over his head.

"Shut the fuck up and let me sleep, Barakat." He said, harshly. I pouted and looked at him with pleeding eyes. He just smirked, but then sighed and got up to get dressed. I smiled triumphaly, and went to make our breakfast.

"Are you leaving soon?" My mom asked when I walked into the kitchen. I nodded. "Have fun." She said simply, while walking away with her cup of coffee and locking herself in her room. I prepared breakfast for both Zack and I and, when it was finished, I saw Zack jumping down the stairs with a big grin on his face.

He sat down in front of me in the table, and we started talking about everything and nothing, mostly about Blink and what songs we wanted them to play.

An hour later, we were on Zack's car, and I was about to scream of excitement. I mean, I was a few hours away of meeting my favourite band in the whole world. Who wouldn't be screaming? Zack was about to punch me in the face, though. He liked Blink, but not as much as I did. He didn't understand what this meant to me. Maybe he had a vague idea about it, but no, he didn't know. Nobody would understand.


My heart raced and my hands started to shake when I saw a big sign that said "Blink 182, tonight! Sold out!". At least two hundred people were already in the line to enter. I literally jumped out of the car and ran to the line, yelling at Zack to hurry up.

When Zack arrived, the two girls who where in front of us started flirting with me. I sighed, annoyed. Everytime we went out, girls started drooling for him. Although Zack played the 'hard to get' guy and never payed attention to them, he was a cutie pie inside. Girls though he was a badass, the most popular kid in school, with a bunch of girlfriends and cool friends. The only true thing about this was that he had a very cool friend... me, of course.

"And who are you?" A blonde one asked, turning to face me.

"Jack."

"What are you from Zack?" The other one asked.

"He's my best friend." Zack said.

"You're not too bad looking," The blonde said, winking at me. "You're actually kind of hot."

"Guys tell me that pretty often." I shrugged, and I saw how she opened her tiny eyes in surprise.

"W-ait... a-are you... you two-o.. Uh...?" She stuttered, and Zack and I just laughed.

"If your question is if we are dating, no, we aren't. If your question if is we are gay, I am, he isn't." I answered, while Zack chuckled.

"Oh... Why do always cute boys are gay?" Her friend asked.

"Hey! What about me?" Zack asked, acting offended.

She was about to answer, when the line started moving. "OH MY GOD ZACK!" I screamed. He sent me a big grinn as we started heading towards the front door. I still can't believe this is true.
