The Blink Show

Chapter Four: Obvious

I saw you again and again and again
There's some room to move on, to move on, to move on
And I saw you again and again and again
How do we fix this if we never have vision

Alex's p.o.v.

"Alex, get ready." I heard my father's voice appear. I felt him shaking my shoulder, so I decided to open my eyes. As I did, I saw that my light was on. I looked at my dad and he smiled down at me.

"Get ready, we've gotta get on our bus." He calmly said and then left the room. Bus? As in tour bus? I sat up, rubbing my eyes aimlessly. I looked around my room and saw my bag packed. I smiled and got up. I walked over to my draws lazily. I looked for The clothes I already prepared for today. I smiled as I saw the fabric of GLMR KLLS top. I reached in and got it out, along with clean boxers and jeans.

I walked out my room and to the bathroom. I stripped and walked into the shower, making sure the shampoo and all that was nearby. I turned the shower on, feeling relaxed as the temperature was perfect already. I've got a big day tomorrow.

Luckily, there was a blue towel on the towel rail. I always forget to grab a towel on the way when I go to take showers.

I walked into my room, drying off and putting my clothes on. Nerves started bubbling in me, but also excitement. It's not until tomorrow, Alex.

"Alex, do you want your guitar, or would you like the one's we've got?" My dad asked from downstairs. I thought for a moment. I obviously want mine.

"I'll use mine thanks, dad." I called, walking into my practice room. I grabbed my lyric book and guitar. I'm not saying I'm going to get famous, but it could possibly happen. That fact made me all giddy. It's not about being famous, I know that, but I hope at least someone out there will like me. I waked out the room and grabbed my bag that had clothes for the tour. Apparently it's on for five days, which is fucking cool for me.

"Alex, are you ready?!" My dad shouted. I smiled, running down the stairs.

"Damn right I am!" I shouted, chuckling after. My dad laughed a little at my stupidity, but then broke into a huge grin.

"Son, I know you're going to do great. You've got the attitude. Don't be shy about showing your personality on stage, Alex." My dad grinned, bringing me into a bug hug. I hugged back and he pulled away. I watched the grin on his face grow.

"Well, let's go then!" He shouted, chuckling. And with that, we headed outside. My eyes widened at the massive tour bus at the end of the house pathway. I was mentally screaming in my head. As I neared it, I could hear music playing loudly. This is going to be so fucking awesome.

"Now, Alex, before we go in...My crew and members will most probably getting drunk. Now, I'm going to be the awesome dad and let you have a little bit to drink. Only a little. Don't piss any one off and you should be fine. Now, welcome to a rockstar's bus." My dad smirked, opening the door. Instantly, the music grew. It didn't even hurt my ears, but I sure could feel it vibrating the bus. I followed my dad up the stairs, shutting the door on the way. Once we were clearly inside, my mind was blown. I could see about ten other people in here. There was a few red cups on the floor, along with some paper.

"Hey, it's our main man!" I heard someone call. I knew that voice from anywhere and I looked straight to blue eyed Mark. My dad walked over to Mark first, whispering something in his ear. I couldn't hear because the music; it wasn't any of my business anyway. He hugged Mark and went over to everyone else. Mark walked over to me, standing higher than me. I smiled at my dad's best friend.

"You alright, Alex?" Mark slurred a little over the music. I nodded a little too shyly, causing him to chuckle. I starred at the floor for a little, becoming more nervous to what my dad's friends and basically brothers will think to me.

"Come sit with us." Mark said over the music. I think they were playing some old punk band that I haven't heard of. I nodded and followed quietly behind Mark. When I looked up, people were flashing smiles at me.

"Alex, sit where you like." My dad said from the sofa beside me. I chuckled and sat from the other side of my dad. I sat down awkwardly. I never knew I was going to be this shy around about ten people, what about the thousands of people I have to play in front of? I gulped, faking a smile to hide my nerves.

"Hey, turn the music down a little, we need introductions." Travis yelled to a man. The man rolled his eyes playfully. I haven't seen the man before, so I guess he's a crew member? The music was very quiet, and little muttering from the other room could be heard.

"Alright, time to set off." Someone from the front yelled. I guess it was the driver. I looked at my dad, he was drinking from one of the red cups. I didn't mind my dad drinking, he deserved a good time.

"Okay, so you obviously know me." Mark said beside me. I smiled. I didn't dare say anything yet.

"I'm Travis, you know me?" Travis sounded off a little but chuckled.

"You only need us, the other guys are assholes." Mark joked. I laughed lightly, not really believing it. I'm sure they're amazing.

"The rules in the bus are... Shit, what are the rules?" Mark exclaimed. I laughed quietly, relaxing at the chilled atmosphere.

"Just not too much drinking for you. No coming back with women if you're not provided. That's it, I guess." Mark said, clasping his hands together. I frowned a little at the "bringing women" bit. I don't want to bring random girls into here to do whatever. I'm not even sure I swing that way.

"So, cheers to..." Mark hipcupped.

"Cheers to the first tour in Baltimore!" Travis interrupted. Then, music flooded the bus. This is going to be so fun.
