I spend a couple of lazy days at the Fuentes and on my last day the band and I get invited to dinner at Vic and Mikes parents house.
Their parents are the sweetest people and Mama Fuentes cooks delicious, she is very disappointed when she finds out that I am not the future daughter in law.

"Victor" she scolds "why not? This is such a lovely girl. When will you finally settle down. You are not getting any younger and I want to live to see my grandchildren!"

Vic groans in agony, hiding his head in his hands. "Please Mama stop that. This is so embarrassing."

The guys and I can't stop giggling.

"It's okay, Vic. I suppose parents are the same all over the world. My mom would have said the exact same thing. And Mama Fuentes, I am sorry but Vic is like a brother to me." I try to help.

Mama Fuentes gets up and hugs me. "Isabelle, (she refused to call me Easy) that makes you my daughter."

I say goodbye to the parents and Tony, Jaime and Mike with the promise to come visit soon and we drive back to Vic's place.

Next morning I pack my bags and have my last breakfast with Vic in the kitchen before I have to get back home.

"Easy, when you drive back you should stop in Huntington Beach." Vic says casually.

"Why?"

"Because Alan and Austin are there at the moment, writing songs."

"So?" I raise my brows.

"Just promise to think about it." Vic smiles his sweet grin and hugs me goodbye. "I am here for you, never forget that."

I drive back not really watching the route when I see the signs for Huntington, I don't know why I should leave the freeway but I follow an impulse and take the exit.

I drive to the house that I had visited during my holidays.

"Hi Austin" I shout as I walk through the door. Austin sits on the couch with his back to me and jumps at my entry. He starts to cough obviously he just choked on something to drink.

"Seriously, Easy you have to fucking start knocking on doors before you walk into other peoples houses" he yells at me putting his coffee mug down on the table.

I shrug "Why, have you been doing dirty things again?" I walk up to him and look over his shoulder.
"No, you haven't been playing with your dick, you've been writing lyrics" I say as I look at his open notebook full of scribbles and handwriting and loose leaves. Austin snorts and shakes his head at me.

I read a few lines and then point to a certain piece. " I like that one" I hum a tune to the words Austin has written.

"What's the story behind it?" I ask Austin.

He thinks about it for a moment then he looks at me as if it had just occurred to him.
"I guess it's about you two, I was wondering when you would find out that you are the perfect match and I feared it might be too late."

He caught me by surprise. "Wait What? But how...? Why...? "

Austin giggles and pushes his hair to the side. "Easy, everybody could see that, but you. Alan was so intrigued by you right from the start. And why are you still wearing his silly ring."

I looked at my hand astonished, I had truly never questioned the fact that I wore the wedding ring he pranked me with in Vegas everyday.

"Where is he?" Was all I could ask, I had to find out what was going on.

"He is out on the beach, he does this every morning and every evening now, says he needs his alone time, if you ask me he is waiting for something or someone" he grins.
