“... Earth to Alex? Are you with us or did you see something shiny again?” Rian joked, waving a hand infront of my face. I turned to look at him, where he was sat basically in Zack's lap.

“Yes, I did in fact, Rian. It was your teeth.” I retorted smugly, grinning at the ex potato. Rian just shook his head, muttering something along the lines of. “Gonna punch you in the balls.” Mean while Zack had thrown his head back against the couch, cackling manically at the usual All time low banter. A comfortable silence fell over us, leaving me with more than enough time to fantasize about him. Although, I should probably wait till I return to my bunk for to have these fantasies, because they usually wake little Alex up.


“Zack, has anyone ever told you that you're really pretty?” Rian asked randomly, pinching at one of Zack's cheeks. Zack's mouth fell open, and he seemed to be struggling to remember how to shut it again.

“All the time, bro.” Zack replied after a few awkward minutes, seeming to have composed himself now. He ducked his head again, but not before I saw the stain of a blush on his face. How fucking peculiar. Wonder what that was all about. Although, Zack was a weird kid so he could have been blushing at fuck knows what.

“Sup cock suckers? Sucking cocks?” Jack yelled as he bounded into the room, laughing as if he found this the most amusing thing he had ever said, which to him, being the fucking twat that he is, probably was. He plopped down next to me, slinging his arm around my shoulders.

“I only suck your cock baby.” I declared dramatically, throwing a playful wink to him. Jack grinned at me, clearly in the mood for playing along.

“And my cock is only for you, Lex.” He purred, pulling me against his chest, where I snuggled against him comfortably. Rian and Zack were sat across from us, there mouths gaping open.

“Are you guys SURE Jalex is just something to entertain the fans?” Zack questioned, eyes slightly wide. Me and Jack exchanged glances, before Jack smirked.

“Me and Lex know exactly what we have, so you can just fuck right off. Alex is my one true love okay. We be the one true pairing.” Jack spoke firmly, but I could see a smile playing around the corners of his lips.

“I don't know Jack, I kinda feel some Zian going on. I mean, c'mon Rian, you're clearly quite comfortable in Zack's lap. And you called the dude cute for fuck sake!” I began laughing at the end, throwing my hands over my face to try and stifle my giggles. Very shortly after, Jack joined in on my laughter, his chuckles shaking around me. Meanwhile Rian looked unamused, and Zack just remained silent, looking down.

“You can say whatever you want Alex, but you all know I'm PERFECTLY HAPPY with Cassadee.” He yelled, sounding as if he was trying to convince us. Or himself. Whatever. Then he pushed himself out of Zack's lap and left the room. Zack stood too, mumbling something about needing to get something from his bunk.

“Whaaaaaaleee then, that was weird.” I announced, lifting my head from Jack's shoulder to look at him. He still had one hand covering his eyes, his cheeks flushed from laughing. How adorable. Um, adorable? No, um, goofy. How goofy. Eventually his laughing died away, leaving a small smile on his lips.

“Hey, Lex, can I tell you something?” He asked gently, now turning to look at me. He smiled and leaned forward, resting his forehead against mine. I nodded for him to continue. He took a deep breath, then slowly let it go, and his breath smelt of burritos, and something else. I'm not sure what the something else was, but it smelt sweet.

“Um, Lex, I'm not really sure how to say this, but I guess I'll just come out straight with it. I think... Fuck, I think I'm in lo-” The sound of my phone ringing cut him off, the loud song contrasting widely with the quiet, calm atmosphere of the room.

“Jack, man, I'm sorry, Its Lisa, I gotta take this.” I mumbled, placing my hand on his cheek, then nudging his leg gently with mine before standing. He just shook his head, a hurt look in his eyes. 'I'm sorry' I mouthed as I left the room, then answered the phone.


“Aleeeeeeeeex! Why did you take so long to answer? Don't you love me? Are you cheating on me? Oh my god you're horrible boyfriend! Anyway, when do you get off of tour? I miss you!” Came her shrieky voice down the phone. I sighed, shaking my head and answering her. I didn't mean to blow Jack off like that [A/n, Giggle, blow off ;)] and I was incredibly curious about what he wanted to tell me. Maybe he'll bring it up again, maybe I'll ask him, but whatever it was, it must have been important if he got so worked up about it.
