Summary
“Ace?” Zack hadn’t looked at her like this in such a long time.
His hazel eyes are vulnerable like the way they used to be when he adored her, and a look of confusion on his face that searched her eyes for an answer. He is trying to find comfort from her, which hadn’t happened in such a long time. Ace missed how much he needed her and it hurts her to know that he did not need her anymore.
“Yeah?” She breathed out, merely a whisper.
“If you were in my position, what would you have done?”
This is the sequel to Dilated Eyes and Let the Floods Cross and I highly recommend you reading the first and second before starting this one. However you do not need to read them to understand the plot of this story (it just helps you understand the history of some of these characters).
