The First Time

Rian’s POV

Zack didn’t look so well before the performance. He looked pale and sick. Even so it didn’t really matter because he decided to perform. So, I thought he was fine.

The intro went on and I was excited. We got up to the stage and I sat down with my drums. I was getting ready and hoping I don’t screw up when the cue to our first song was signaled. I played and we all jammed well.

I was really hyped and so were Jack and Alex, but Zack didn’t even jump or look anywhere. He just stayed there. He usually smiles and has fun when we went on stage, but not today. As the music goes on, he turned as pale and cold as a codfish. What was going on with him? He got a bit closer to me.

“Get in the mood Zack.” I said breaking my concentration into two.

He didn’t even respond and it took me by surprised since I was the closest to him, but he dropped to the hard floor along with his bass that broke into pieces and scratched some parts of his skin. The music stopped and everyone was shocked. I ran to Zack and so did Jack and Alex. His head got scratched by the bass parts and started to bleed. He looked really really pale. Someone called the ambulance and not long after the paramedic came. The scratches were everywhere and his skin bled staining our shirts.

Man, they guys and I were shocked as fuck! The concert went on because we had two more songs. Zack had a substitute and after two songs the concert ended. We were sweaty and tired, but our bro comes first so we went to hospital together to find him. He really scared the shit out of us.
