It was the next morning. Jack was awake already and watching Alex as he slept. It was adorable. Jack nudged Alex with his nose though; it was 11 am, luckily it was the weekend so they could sleep in but still. He wanted to get up. Alex mumbled something sleepily before fluffing up the blanket a bit and hiding his face. He made a little mewing noise in his sleep.
“Alex, wake up,” Jack insisted. Finally, Alex tore open an eye, looked at Jack disapprovingly and closed it again.
“Wake uuuup,” Jack whined. Alex grunted. Jack pinched his arm. He was in a good mood.
“Aleeex, I wanna play your guitar,” he requested.
Alex finally said something. “Then just take it and quit torturing me.”
“Yay! Thank you,” Jack squealed and dashed off. He came back to the bed and started playing. He’d been playing ever since he had been 12 years old so he was fairly good at it. But Matt had kind of “removed” his guitar a bit ago so he didn’t have a guitar anymore.
Seconds later, Jack was back, cradling Alex’s acoustic guitar in his arms. He sat down on the bed and started playing some basic chords which soon progressed into something Alex knew: Rollercoaster by blink-182. He had to smile; this was great. Jack was playing a song he loved… Really loved. He couldn’t help but hum along.
“Alex, are you singing? Come on, louder!” Jack said excitedly when he noticed.
Alex sighed and sat up. He had to admit he was enjoying this. He started to sing along again and he loved it. Jack was feeling awesome, tapping his feet to the rhythm of the song.
When the song was over, Jack grinned, put the guitar away and jumped onto the bed and on Alex. He started kissing him, slowly and passionately...
