Exciting E-mail (Alex)

It was 11 am already when Alex checked his e-mails. Jack was at work and he was following his daily routine which consisted of getting up, taking a walk through the garden while his tea or coffee (today, it was tea) steeped, feeding Sam and eating himself. Then he would check his emails.
He wasn’t expecting anything exciting, just the same old e-mails from the seminary about events it organised and maybe one from his mum. But there was a special e-mail today. The address was a weird one; it sounded like one a 6th grader would think of.
Alex opened the e-mail.
Dear Alex,
I found your e-mail address in the announcement about you in the church. I would like to request a confession because I need to get some things off my mind. Would tomorrow at 5.30 be alright?

Aha. What was that? He read through it again and smiled. This was kind of cute. But who could it be? He decided to give it a shot and clicked on “Reply”.
Dear Anonymous,
I received your e-mail and that is okay with me. I’ll be waiting in the confession box today at 5.30 pm.

He sent it and had another sip of his tea. Well, this was exciting. If he thought more closely of it, he didn’t know anybody other than Jack who could have sent it. I mean, the old ladies probably didn’t even know where the start button on a computer was and there were literally no young people other than him at church. Of course, it could be someone who had gone into church when Alex hadn’t been there to look at the beautiful decoration but Alex decided to go with his dream about Jack.
He also decided to go for a run because he hadn’t gone for one in a while and he wanted to clear out his mind.

Okay wow I almost didn't write this because I fell asleep but I somehow woke up in the middle of the night, managed to drag myself out of bed and am now able to present you with this short chapter! (Sorry it's not longer but I'm tired...)
And about Alex recognizing Jack's voice: I'm aware of that and Jack will have to deal with it. But Maybe it'll be of advantage...? Who knows! c:
