Chapter 7
Saturday morning I woke up, forgetting what day it was. Alex and jack were sleeping on either side of me. Everything flooded back to my mind. I was crying most if the night after I put Alice in her bedroom to go to bed, Jack and Alex spent the night trying to calm me down. Around 3 they just decided to spend the night.
"Hey guys get up, we have to take Alice to the airport in 3 hours." I shook them both attempting to wake them up. "Come on guys." since they seemed as though they weren't moving, i went to my closet so i could change. i put on black vans, a black beanie, black shorts, and a white tank top with a black lightening bolt on it. when i got back from changing, i went straight to Alice's room.
"Mommy! time to get up?" Alice asked, she was on the floor with Indie.
"Yes Ma'am!" i tried to sound cheerful. Indie got up to leave, hugging me on the way out. "thanks boo" i said into her ear.
"Anytime Sis." she left the room. i smiled down at Alice.
"Now what do you want to wear Missy?" I asked. Alice skipped over to her bed, looking at the clothes on it, she held up a pink shirt and skinny jeans Alex bought her. "That seems fine." i grabbed her Black strappy converse. i finished getting her ready when Jack walked into the bedroom.
"Hey." he was holding two cups of coffee. "Here." i took it from him, sipping it. "Is Alex up? we have to go soon." i said, looking at Alice, who was staring at us.
"No, want me to watch her so you can get him up?" Jack asked.
"Yes please." I walked into my bedroom, kneeling on my bed "Alex, get up." i shook him a little, his soft snores still were filling the room. "Lex, come on" i put my coffee cup down, straddling him and pushing his shoulders up and down. "LEXY WAKE UP!" i yelled. his eyes popped open, as he screamed like a girl. "BECK! WHAT THE HELL!!" he screamed. i jumped off of him, laying next to him.
"Morning sleepy head. We have to take Alice to the air port in two hours. come on" i got off the bed, going down stairs. Alice walked up to me, hugging me, wearing a shirt i had never seen before.
"I love my mommy." she squeezed my legs, my eyes teared up as i picked her up hugging her tight.
"I love you too sweetheart." i sniffed, handing her off to jack so i could run back up stairs. i slammed my door shut, flopping on my floor, Alex was putting his pants on, giving me an odd look.
"Becka, why are you crying?" he knelt in front of me.
"When you go downstairs, look at Alice's shirt." i pulled my knees to my chest.
"Okay. Beck stop crying. right now." Alex snapped, i looked at him with a look of disgust "I'm not kidding. put a fucking happy face on and go down and be the mother you should be!" i stood up, looking up at Alex, kissing him softly on the lips.
"Thank you Al." i walked back down stairs, Alex followed me close behind.
"Are we okay now?" Jack asked. i nodded, Alex smirked at me.
"Keep your mouth SHUT." i whispered while walking by him, i poked his chest. 2 hours later "Rebeckah!" someone called behind me. Jack and I turned around, Alex at the moment was hugging Alice. "Oh Hi Mrs. Quinn!!" i called, walking over to her, hugging her. "Alice, come say hello to your grandmother." "I love her shirt." Mrs. Quinn gushed.
"Mommy! Up!" Alice demanded, i gave her a dirty look, picking her up.
"She calls you Mommy?" Mrs. Quinn sounded surprised.
"well of course, i have basically been her mom since she was 6 months old." i took a step back, "Is that a problem?"
"No not at all, i was just surprised is all, well we must be going, where are her bags?" Mrs. Quinn asked, Alex stepped out of the way, revealing the 2 suitcases and a duffel bag. "Wonderful." i hugged Alice tight. "Sweetie, i need you to behave for Grandma and Grandpa okay? i will come and visit over the summer and at Christmas okay?" i looked at Alice.
"Where are you going mommy?" She asked.
"You are going away for a while okay?" i nodded, Alice nodded sadly. "Behave please." i kissed her forehead, handing her to Mrs. Quinn. "See you soon Ally" i called as they walked away. Jack, Alex and I started back towards the car, but i just stopped.
"Whats wrong?" Alex asked.
"nothing, come on." i kept walking, Alex wrapped an arm around my shoulders. "Thanks Al." i whispered into his side.
"Anytime Kiddo." he kissed the top of my head, Jack turned around and smirked.
"Come on Lover birds." Jack pulled us to the car. "Can i drive?"
"NO!!" Alex jumped into the front seat before Jack could get there

I looked on your profile, and I'm sad to see this was never continued. And it's sad that it never received any comments either. It wasn't that bad, you kept the plot going, my only complaint was that maybe you kind of skipped a tad and just seemed to rush through your writing... but it was still a good story. I was a bit sad she didn't end up with Alex sooner, though. lol.
I'm hoping you choose to one day maybe write an epilogue to this, if not a full-fledged sequel. It kind of just left off, so I would love to see more of a conclusion to it. But I understand losing inspiration, so, there's that.
But just thought I would leave a comment since there aren't any to let you know that I enjoyed this. :) It's sad that no one else commented, hm. :/
