4 months later I was happy per say, I had full custody of Alice, since Nolan disappeared. I was pretty close with Alex now, Jack, Alex, Rian, and Zack every Friday night watched a movie with me at my house. It was like a ritual. On this particular day I was heading to the library to tutor a kid from school. I was in long light blue sweater black leggings and a tight black half shirt. I was going towards the door when Alex burst through the door as I was slipping my Adventure Time Toms on. He was a crying wreck. "Lex what are you doing?" I asked, hugging my friend. "He's dead Beck. He's dead" he cried. I sat him on the floor kneeling in front of him. "Hunny who died?" I had my hand on his cheek. "My brother Beck he died last night." He was bawling. Drew walked into the hallway, saw us on the floor and walked straight back out. "Alex I'm so so sorry pooh. Come on let's go watch a movie." I tried to help him up. He wouldn't budge "pooh come on we have to get out of the hallway." He finally got up coming up to my room. "Lex can I call jack to come and sit with you while I go tutor Neil?" Alex shook his head no. "You can go I can stay here." He sniffles "I don't want you alone kiddo. You need someone here. Just let jack sit with you. I will only be an hour and a half. Plus I have to pick Alice up." I sat on the edge of the bed. "Fine." He sighed, rolling so his back was to me. "See you in a bit." I walked down stairs "drew I'm leaving Alex is up stairs and jack is going to come over and keep an eye on him" I called walk out of the house. Before driving to the library, I stopped at Jack's telling his what happened and asking him to go and watch Alex. 1 hour later "Alright Neil I have to go. I might not be able to help you tomorrow, if you need anything you can call my cell. I put my physics textbook back in my purse leaving the library. I stopped at Alice's daycare picking her up. "Mommy!" She yelled, running over, "Mommy! Miss Taylor let me help her bake a cake." I picked her up. "Did she really?" I asked acting amazed. "And did you have fun with miss Taylor?" " yes mommy I did!" She bounced in my arms. "Great." I grabbed her bag. "Thanks Taylor." I smiled at my friend. She is one on Alex's friends who dropped out of school because she was having twins last year. Sadly only one made it, her name is Nicole Cassandra. Taylor watches Alice for me for free since Alice was just kind of handed of to me by the lawyers. "Anytime hun." Taylor patted my head as Alice and I walked out of her house. "Ally I need you to sit with your uncle Alex and I upstairs for a little bit." I told her while I put her in her car seat. "Mommy is something wrong?" She asked, Petting my hair. "Uncle Alex is just making mommy worried no need to worry sweat heart." I kissed her forehead, handing her her teddy bear. "Is he sad?" She asked as I got in the car. I looked at the toddler in the rear view mirror. Damn she was good. "Yes sweetheart he is very sad." I told her "would you make him feel better for mommy, give him lots of hugs and kisses." "Silly mommy!"Alice laughed "that's your job! You're the mommy!" "But I don't give amazing hugs like you Alice." I pulled out of Taylor's driveway. "Okay." She nodded " can we listen to uncle Alex sing?" She was talking about the CD of them I had in my car. "Sure sweetie we can listen to your uncles." I turned the CD player on listening to the song in silence till we got to the house. Jack walked outside when I was putting Alice down. "Uncle Jack!!!" She screamed running over hugging his legs. I walked over. "How is he?" I asked, fixing the two bags I had on my shoulder. Jack bent over picking Alice up. "In your room. He wouldn't let me in." Jack explained on the walk up to the house "said only would talk to you." I nodded walking into the kitchen. "Okay I can deal with that. Alice take your coat off." I opened the fridge, " then we can take something up to Uncle Alex." "Okay!" Alice tried to just pull the sweatshirt over her head. "Mommy I'm stuck!" "Uncle Jack will help you." I called from the cupboard. Jack sighed helping Alice with her sweatshirt . "Silly girl going too fast for herself." Jack laughed, throwing her sweatshirt on the chair. "Come on ally." I started up the stairs. The 2 year old ran after me. "Hang on mommy!" She yelled chasing me. I stopped at my door, knocking on the door "uncle Alex?" Alice whispered. "Lex it's me let us in hun." I said quietly. Alex started to move around in the room, opening the door. "Oh hunny." I walked in as he went back to my bed. "Beck I... I.. Feel so alone." Alex whispered. I sat on the bed next to him rubbing his back. " I know... I know lex." I sighed. Alice climbed on the bed sitting in front of Alex. She kissed his head and laid next to him. "Don't be sad Uncle Alex." She hugged his neck. I heard a slight chuckle. "Lic you give the best hugged." Alex sat up hugging Alice. "Becka can we watch a movie?" " of course." I laughed putting a movie in.
