When I called in the office the next day I signed my contract and got an introduction into the features of the buses, the responsibilities of the driver, his duties and work routines while being on tour along with lots of paperwork and handbooks for me to work through before I would get on the road next Monday. I also met Kev and Lee, two of my co- workers who would also drive for Warped. They were both in their mid thirties and seemed really nice and okay with the fact that I was a girl. The only thing I had to do now was picking up my schedule in the front office on my way out.
Janice the nice assistant smiled at me "excited?" She asked me when I signed the receipt.

" Yes, definitely" I smiled back looking through the papers she just handed me. "where does it say who I will be driving on this tour? I can't seem to find it?".

"Oh, let me see" she studied the sheet that I had handed her back." It's here, the code in the upper right corner: it states BB for Band Bus, and AA for Asking Alexandria, so there you go, good luck, see you after tour then"

" Thanks Janice, see you then." I waved goodbye as I pushed the door open with my back carrying the books and papers in my hands.

When I opened my car I dumped everything onto the free seat deciding I would sort and go through this stuff tonight.
Asking Alexandria, I had heard the name of this band before but I had no idea what they looked like or listened to a song before, I had heard they played some pretty heavy stuff but decided I would do my homework and look them up on the internet to find out who I would have to deal with for the coming weeks.

Once I arrived home I immediately started up my laptop and went onto YouTube.

A couple of hours and lots of music videos and interviews later I sat on the floor in front of my couch burying my head in my hands. From what I had seen this band seemed not only totally crazy, that was not the problem, crazy I could easily handle, they were outright mental, apparently constantly drugged and about the most sexist dicks you could imagine, I could not even figure out how they would be reacting to a girl driving them around after all their comments on women I had heard in their interviews. Maybe this whole bus driver thing was not such a good idea after all. On a side note I also hated their music. So I only groaned when Steph came back from work happily asking how my day has been.

"What's up Easy did you find out who's crew you will be driving, yet?" .

" You could say that, thing is I will not drive a crew bus but the actual band"

"What? I can't believe it, that's so amazing, who is it? Someone famous, are they cute? " she got all excited and jumped up and down a huge smile on her face.

" It's Asking Alexandria. Ever heard of them?" I replied tiredly.

Her eyes grew wide in shock. " oh my god Easy, you poor thing they are supposed to be real assholes, I am so sorry!".

I did not reply and just sat there shaking my head.

"Ben Bruce is totally hot though" she added leaving the room and ducking away from the cushion I was throwing at her. "Oh and by the way" she called from the other room "Luke stopped by this morning when you were already gone, he wanted to say goodbye because the guys had to leave for LA, he left his number and said if you survived Warped Tour he would definetly like to see you again. I think someone's got a little crush on you" The last sentence she sang in a silly mocking voice. If I survived Warped Tour!

" You know what" I screamed letting myself fall face forward into the couch "this is not funny, not fucking funny at all."
