Hey guys! Alex again. Jack fell asleep after he finished writing and it seemed like he was having a nightmare so I went and stayed with him until I was over. I couldn’t sleep so I decided to write.

So after Jack told me what happened and the guys showed up, we left the cemetery and headed home. Zack took the liquor and said he was going to take it home so it wouldn’t be around Jack. We agreed. We all gathered in the living room and sat there quite for what seemed like hours but in reality it was only minutes.

I broke the silence by telling Rian and Zack about what happened with Jack’s family. They were shocked to say the least. They never thought his family would be like that. We were all on edge because my parents were due in a few hours and we had no idea how they would respond.

Everyone knew Jack and I’s relationship was already delicate to begin with, we fear that this could be what would tear us apart but no one said it out loud. I know everyone was worried that if things got bad between Jack and I, that All Time Low would be no more.

Finally Rian broke the silence by putting a movie in. We all knew Jack and knew what would cheer him up, Home Alone. As soon as Rian hit play, Jack started mouthing the words. Soon enough he was acting it out also. He had all of us laughing and playing along.

We were so into it we didn’t hear the door open or people come watch us until they started applauding us. I jumped up and ran to my parents and gave them a hug. They hugged me back and pulled Zack, Rian, and Jack in for a hug also.

Zack grabbed their bags and took it up to my room since Jack had their old room and they didn’t want to upset him. Zack came back down and him and Rian were just about to leave when I stood up. “Zack, Rian, you guys know what is coming next. If you want to leave you can or you can stay and hear this out.” I looked to both of them who nodded and sat back down.

My parents gave me a confused look but I just ignored it and held my hand out to Jack. He hesitantly took it and stood up next to me, never letting go of my hand. I faced my parents. “I love you guys very much and this is why we wanted to tell you this. Jack and I are together.” I said slowly taking in a deep breath and holding it in.

All was silent for a few seconds when my mom jumped up and pulled both of us in a hug. “Oh I was so worried that you were going to say something bad!”
My dad let out a nervous laugh, “Yeah like you were addicted to drugs or had killed someone.” He said standing up and clapping us both on the shoulders.
“So.. you guys are okay with it?” Jack asked quietly.

“Of course! As long as you two are happy.” My dad said giving Jack a reassuring smile.
“Jack dear we know how hard it was for you after Maria and we were so worried you wouldn’t find the same happiness again. The first love is always the hardest but if Alex makes you happy then we are happy for both of you!” she finished, planting a big wet kiss on both of our cheeks. My dad just laughed.

“Okay so who is hungry?” my mom said as she made her way into the kitchen.
“Well I guess we can stick around a bit longer.” Rian said elbowing Zack in the side, causing them to go into a wrestling match in our living room. My dad just sat on the couch and laughed at them while Jack and I went to the kitchen.

“So you’re really okay with us? Just like that?” I asked my mom.
“Why wouldn’t I be? You two seem happy and to be honest until Jack met Maria we thought you two would end up together.”
I threw my hands up. What was up with everyone knowing before us? I let out a sigh and Jack laughed. He knew what was going through my mind.
“Who else knows?” my mom asked.
“Well we told Jack’s family and they didn’t take it too well. I mean his brother was okay with it but his mom and sister weren’t.” I told her giving Jack’s hand a squeeze. He gave me a small smile and went back to inspecting his shoes.

“Well I am sure that with time they will come around. It’s not easy on some learning that their kid isn’t what they expected him to be. I love both you boys just the same and so does your father. Now if you are going to be in here you are going to help me.” she said handing an apron over.

I held my hands up and backed out of the kitchen but Jack took the apron and shot me a smile. I smiled back and headed back to the living room where Rian had won the match was sitting on top of Zack making him admit that he was the better man.

I plopped down next to my dad and started talking about the band. After about thirty minutes my mom called from the kitchen to say it was done. We all raced in and our jaws dropped. There were pancakes, sausage, biscuits, hash browns, and toast. It all smelled so amazing.
We all got plates and dug in. After almost an hour of stuffing our faces, all the food was gone. We thanked my mom who just pointed at Jack and said he did all the work. He gave us all a big smile and I gave him a big hug. I didn’t think he had it in him to cook that good.

Rian and Zack left after the meal. My parents wanted to go visit old friends so Jack and I watched a movie until they came back. When they got back we went out to dinner and they went to bed early because they were jet lagged and tired.

Jack decided that it was okay to sleep in his bed so we crept up stairs and into his room. I pulled him in close and held him all night.

So Alex came out and his parents are okay with it! That means I am almost done! I have two more things to do and then I can lay this story to rest!

It's crazy to think of where I started and here I am now! Thank you guys for sticking around! Only a bit longer now ^^
