For Baltimore (Part Two)

Delilah~~
(Six days before the wedding)

"Delilah, come here please!" Alex yelled from the bedroom. I entered the room, a confused expression on my face.

"What do you need, baby?" I asked. He looked up and his gaze met mine, filling me with butterflies.

"Come here." He said, stepping away from the bed. I took a few steps into the room, meeting him halfway. He rested his hands on my hips and looked into my eyes, smiling.

"You're absolutely gorgeous, you know that right?" Alex asked. I blushed and buried my head into his chest. He chuckled and pulled me against him, holding onto my hips tightly, but not too tight. I looked up and wrapped my arms around his neck, placing my lips on his.


"I love... you, Delilah." Alex said in between kisses.

"Mmm... I love you.. too." I replied. I pulled away and stared into his eyes.

"Six days. Six days and we'll be married." Alex said with soft smile.

"Do you have your vows ready?" I asked. Alex nodded.

"Yeah.. you?" He asked.

"Yep.." I said quietly. In fact, I had memorized them. Alex kissed me again and backed us up until I hit the bed. We fell together gracefully, both hitting the mattress in a tangled heap. And that's how we spent the rest of the day: kissing, making love, ignoring phone calls and knocks on the door. It was pure bliss, being with Alex like that all day. I couldn't believe this was happening, but I was so happy it was.

Well, it's damn short... I know. But I'm not really in the writing mood today, if I'm honest. This might be over soon.. for good. I don't know.. we'll see. :3
