For Baltimore (Part Two)

Chapter 20

Delilah~~
*The Wedding*

"Delilah! You're absolutely gorgeous!" Lainey exclaimed. I smiled nervously and turned to face her, Cassadee, and Sami. They all had smiles etched on their faces.

"Well, you three look beautiful in your dresses. We picked out beautiful ones, didn't we?" I asked as tears formed in my eyes.

"Don't cry! You'll smudge your makeup!" Cassadee cried out. I sniffed as one fell down my left cheek, and I sat myself on the bed.

"I can't help it," I said as more fell. I brought my hand up and wiped as many as I could, actually ruining my makeup. Cassadee rushed over and grabbed my eyeliner and mascara, and she stood in front of me. She handed me a tissue, and I dabbed at my eyes. Once I wasn't crying, and my eyes were dry, she quickly fixed my makeup for me.

"Now, no more crying, alright? Mr. Gaskarth is here," she said. Indeed he was. He entered the room with a bright smile.

"You four beautiful ladies ready to go?" He asked. We all nodded, and I stood up. My legs were shaking, and I felt like I was gonna pass out. I took a deep breath, and we all exited the room.

There was a hotel across from the park that we had used to rent a room, which they had gladly let us do. Peter led the four of us across the small street, and Lainey, Cass, and Sam met up with their dates. There was a huge curtain, covering the portion of the park we were using, which I assumed held the rest of the ceremony behind it. Cass handed me my bouquet, and I took it with shaky hands.

"Hey, Delilah. You're absolutely beautiful," said Jack, who looped his arm with Sam's. I gave him a nervous smile, but it faltered.

"You guys need to get into position! Jack, Samantha, you two are going first since you're the best man and main bridesmaid, alright?" My mom asked. She was rushing around, getting people organized and into their seats. She looked just as nervous as I was, but not more, because I was freaking the fuck out.

"Delilah, Peter.. oh Delilah, you're beautiful," she said.

"Thanks mom," I said, and she disappeared behind the curtain. Minutes upon minutes passed, and I was finding it a little hard to breathe properly. Peter calmed me down, and told me it was just nerves. I had nodded, and watched as Lainey and her date left after Zack and his. We were next, and I couldn't stand still. I could feel the anxiety rise in my chest, and I felt like crying again.

"Let's go," Peter whispered as the curtains were pulled open finally. I took a shaky step with Peter, and almost lost my balance, but luckily, he supported me the whole way down. When we reached Alex, I was a wreck. He took my hands in his warm, caloused ones. I stared into his eyes and tried to listen to the priest, but I couldn't. I found hearing hard to do, as well as standing, and before I knew it, my knees gave out and everything went black.

--

I woke up with Alex's face right in mine.

"Delilah! You're okay, God you're okay!" He said.

"What do you mean? What happened?" I asked as I propped myself up on my elbows. Only Alex's and Jack's faces were the ones I could see. Alex stood up and pulled me up with him and into his arms. I looked around and my face instantly heated up. I had passed out in front of everyone. I hid my face in my hands and turned around.

"I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!" I said as Alex placed his hands on my shoulder. He turned me to face him, my face bright red still.

"It's okay! It was just nerves, I promise," he said. I smiled up at him and we returned to our positions.

"How long was I out?" I asked.

"About ten minutes," Alex said.

"Oh, God," I said.

"Can we continue?" The priest asked. I nodded, and he continued.

I got through the vows with no problem, and I had a huge smile on my face by the time the ring bearer made it to the end of the aisle.

"Alexander William Gaskarth, do you take Delilah Marie Gray to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

"I-"

"I object!" Someone yelled. Everyone looked over to see who it was. I felt more tears well up in my eyes. It was Lisa.

"Ma'am, we're far past that," the priest stated.

"Can I just say something?" She asked, her hand behind her back.

"No, now I prefer you leave," my mom said as she stood out of her seat. Lisa was escorted out, and I caught a glimpse of something white in her hand, possibly a tissue, when she turned around. I let out a sigh and looked at Alex.

"You were saying?" The priest asked.

"I do," Alex said, a grin spread across his features.

"And do you, Delilah Marie Gray take Alexander William Gaskarth to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

"Of course," I said. We exchanged the rings, both with huge smiles.

"I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride,"

Alex placed his hands on my hips, and I wrapped mine around his neck. He wasted no time in planting his lips firmly on mine, and I smiled into the kiss.

--

After the reception, Alex and I grabbed the limo home, and he helped me out of the limo. The driver sped off and Alex picked me up off my feet and spun me around. I planted my lips on his, and we kissed for what seemed like ages. He set me down, and led me inside. He closed and locked the door behind us, and he unzipped my dress. It landed around my ankles, and I stepped out of my shoes. I picked it all up and placed it on the couch, then I returned to Alex's arms, where he kissed me again. He led me to our room, me fumbling with his suit jacket. He chuckled and helped me, and soon he was down to his boxers.

Ten minutes later, Alex and I were making out when he decided to take off the rest of my clothes. I pushed him up by his shoulders, and looked him in the eye.

"There's something I need to tell you," I said. He cocked his eyebrows, and rested his hands by my head.

"Go for it, Miss Gaskarth," he said. I smiled.

"Mrs. Gaskarth, to you," I said. It took him a minute, and he raised his eyebrows.

"What!?" He asked, surprise laced in his tone. I had a huge grin on my face.

"Yes! Alex, you don't seriously believe that it was nerves earlier, do you?" I asked with a slight laugh.

"Well, I did. Are you sure?" He asked. I nodded.

"Yes, Gaskarth! I'm fucking pregnant!" I said loudly, making him laugh out loud. He stood and picked me up, and I wrapped my legs around his waist as he spun me around in excited circles. When he stopped, he crashed his lips onto mine, and I giggled into it. He pulled away and rested his forehead against mine, tears in his eyes.

"I fucking love you, Delilah," he said.

"I love you too, you goofball," I said. He chuckled, and kissed me again.

THE END

Notes

GUYS! It's actually over this time. Can you comment? I haven't had a comment on this story since Valentine's day, and that's actually quite fucking sad.

Sorry, but did you like it? I know I loved this chapter, I had originally wrote it yesterday, but I accidentally closed the tab and spent the rest of my day fuming about it, but it wasn't nearly as good as this one. I love you all, and thanks for reading. I'll see you next time. :3 <3
