A Dark Love To Hold

It's been a month and a half since I've last talked with Alex. I must be a fool for counting but I will never forget it. I refuse to forget. Not once have I consider trying to talk to him, he himself asked for it and I won't go against it. Even if it hurts me.
It's winter now. Rain has been pouring non-stop, the sky being grey and gloomy, and the icy cold wind blowing throughout the tree's leafs. The weather I much prefer. At some point I've kept my curtains wide open, displaying the beautiful view I had. I also moved a small couch in front of the window, having spent nearly all of my lone time just staring out. I leaned a bit forward, reaching out my fingers to touch the glass, gliding them down. A small knock made me drop my hand and lean back.
"So this is what you do when your not with me?", Zack said as he crossed my room, sitting down next to me. It's strange how he and I became so close to each other in such a short time. I trust him and he with I.
"Pretty much. What are you even doing here? You hate this weather.", I turned to look at him.
"May wants me to take you out. Says you've been cooped up here to long. Plus i want to show you this music store.", I signed and turn back to the window. That's another strange thing. May and Zack have been close as well. It's nice to see that my one and only friend takes an interest in my family but being too close to them is and will always be weird.
"Fine I guess. Just get out for I can change okay?", He nod and left. I continued to look out the window then got up, proceeding to change. Once I'm done I make my way down stairs, I stop when I hear rushed whispers. I crock one eye brow and focus what there saying.
"He doesn't have it on so make sure you have a sharp eye understand?", I think that's May. She sounds mad and slightly annoyed.
"I know he doesn't have it I'm not stupid May. Besides I won't let them get near him, they can't be-", Zack's voice got cut off when I walked in the living room. Both sporting turning to look at me.
"What are you two going on about?", I asked carefully. May walked towards me, placing her hand on my cheek. A funny feeling flows within my body and I relax to her touch.
"Don't worry about it honey. Now get going and have fun. Zack, I want him home by 8:00.",she smiled and turned to Zack.
He nod and began to lead the way out the house to which I follow shortly after. What the hell was that all about? Better yet, what where they discussing that got May upset? And why I'm I so calm?




Zack decided to go to the movies first, we watched the conjouring. By far it was good and interesting but I wouldn't say it's an amazing film. Now where heading to the music store he was telling me about. Some where along the way I started getting the feeling that someone is watching me. You have no idea how much I would turn and look around me. Fuck, am losing my mind. I frown and follow Zack into the store. I can see from the reflection of the mirror that Zack is smiling wide,heading to the bass and guitar section. I stop and decide to look at some CDs.
I hear a faint laugh from the right side. I quickly look up and see two other guys goofing off. One is short with silky wavy dark brown hair, his eyes are a hazel color, and he has a lip ring. He's skin is pale with a slight tan. The other is about he's height, has medium length chocolate colored hair. He has a nose ring and his skin is a bit more tan. They both stop and turn to look directly at me.
I frown feeling self conscious and I look quickly down, continuing to scan through the CDs. I decide to listen to some demos and pull on some earphones, getting lost in the music I randomly choosed. A light tap startled me and I quickly take off the earphones. I slowly turn around.
"Sorry man,i didn't mean to scare you.",the guy with the nose ring said.
"It's okay...",i looked down. I'm confused as to why his over here talking to me.
"I don't mean to be a bother but I see your looking for some music. Need some help?",he asked. Slowly I gave him a slight nod. This is certainly the first time someone tries to talk to me.
"I'm Vic by the way. The guy over there,"he points to where the guy with the lip ring is,"is my buddy Frank." Vic smiles and motions for Frank to come. Frank immediately smiles at me and gives me a tight hug. When he backs off, I'm left wide eyed and blushing.
"Dude be lucky I'm looking after you instead of Gerard.", Vic says while he's going through CDs, already having some in his hands.
"Oh shut it Vic, I'm sure...", He turns to look at me. Realizing that I didn't told them my name yet.
"Jack", I said as I fiddled with my sweater.
"I'm sure Jack doesn't mind this at all. And don't you bring Gerard into this. How about your little adorable Kellin huh? I wonder what he's doing right now in the shower hmm?", Frank smirked at Vic and grabbed some CDs from the other side of him.
"Touche my friend.", Vic laughs a little and hands me the CDs he picked. "Sorry about our conversation, anyways give these a try there good."
"Thanks for helping me."
"Sure thing. Sadly we have to go now but will definitely see you around.", Both Vic and Frank hugged me and went out the store. I'm left standing in the middle of the store, trying to process what just happened until I remembered Zack. I quickly went to look for him, and when I did, we made our purchases and left home.
I went straight to my room and played some music that Vic selected. I sat on the couch, thinking. What did he meant by definitely meeting again? Maybe I shouldn't give it much thought. I'm to tired to realize that I'm falling asleep. All while dreading another day of school.
