A Dark Love To Hold

I hummed when I struck the last note of the song I've created. It's been awhile since I've last played guitar,and I'm surprised I still know how to play. I wrote down the lyric and closed the notebook,setting it aside with the guitar, I got up and started walking to the kitchen to make tea.
How I long to have some sort of presence here. Knowing that I could of had Jack, just didn't help me any less. Its been a dreaded month and a half, and let me tell you it wasn't nearly as easy to have a boundary with him. Chris made it as clear as possible, no human will ever love a creature of darkness like us. Just the thought of it makes me makes me desperate. I let out a quiet laugh, an animal like myself desperate. For a human. For a boy. In the early days, it would be quite sinful for a man to be with a man. To which I might add is very much amusing, bashed by the almighty God and considered a slave of the devil for such act. So utterly stupid. Love is love. Nothing else will matter.
"Alex",i turn around slightly and sign. Once again deep in concentration to realize that Jessica, Ricky, and Chris invited themselves in. Jessica is holding a large portfolio which catches my attention,leaving me rather curious.
"What is it?", I turned off the boiling hot pot and quickly poured a generous amount in the cup which already held my grey earl tea.
"Alexander it's urgent.", Ricky said sporting a grim expression. I glanced at them and pointed to the table to sit. Once they were seated I nod for Ricky to continue.
"Jessica has......well she saw something that needs to be discussed.", He reached out and grabbed hold of her frail hand.
"Alex, I need to know one thing. You mustn't lie.", Jessica said. The sudden tension is starting to get unbearable so I gave her a nod.
"Jack......does he know his a witch?", the mentioned of his name makes me tense. I look up quickly and looked at them. I never questioned this. Jack doesn't exactly show any signs that he indeed knows he's a witch. I muttered a 'no' and took a sip of the tea. Where is this going? Jessica let go of Ricky's hand and opened up the portfolio,pulling out a large sheet and handing it to me. I didn't expect to see what's in front of my eyes.
"I don't know what it means but....Alex he's not only a danger to everyone....he's also a danger to himself.", It was a drawing of Jack, being surrounded by some sort of light force field. He's eyes are closed and arms extended. My fingers were blinding against the paper,tracing his outlined body. It seems as if minutes passed when I finally looked up.
"So where does this leads us to?", I set the drawing down and stood up.
"It means you have to keep tabs on him.", I couldn't help but smile. I can talk to him now and that's all I ever asked for in this period of time. I put away the dishes and returned to my seat.
"Before you get too excited, we know that keeping an eye on Jack during school will be difficult so Jess called in extra help.", Ricky got up and went straight to the window and opened it. He stepped back and let 4 young looking men inside. I groaned and rested my hand on my forehead. Of course Jess will choose them...
"Gerard,Frank,Vic,and Kellin know what they have to do. I'm i right?", they all nod and smiled at me. I've known them for awhile, there a bit older than me and mature. The down side about this all is the fact that their persistent. Very persistent. I wonder how Rian will take this, he's never had ally's.
"Don't worry Alex, we won't let you down. Besides Jack is just too adorable to let any harm get to him.", Frank practically squealed at the end. He turned around and tugged on Gerard's shirt, making him smile in return.
You see, Frank is Gerard's mate while Kellin is Vic's mate. They have to have each other's side or eles they refuse to move. The power of love has that effect, even on us monsters. I'm in fact jealous that they share that, while I long for it. It's quiet amusing.
"Wait you met him already?", I asked.
"I sent either one of them to see what they'll have to protect. I know, I'm sorry I couldn't get your consent earlier.", Chris spoke.
. "It's fine. So I'm guessing they will be enrolled into school?",i wonder if this plan will all plan out.
. "Already done. I'll just get materials and clothes ready before tomorrow. Aside from that, you also need new clothes Mr.",Jessica pointed at me and caused Frank and Kellin to giggle. This should be very interesting. All that's left for me to do is talk to Jack. A task that won't be as simple as I think it would.
