Alex POV


Jack had been working at the restaurant for 5 days now. It was Friday night, we had no plans and I had just received a text from my friend Rian.

From: Rian
hey man, wanna come hang out in the eastcoast bar? Zack is here too

I wanted to go. But what about Jack? Hm. Could I maybe take him with me?

“Jay? You wanna go out and meet my friends?” I shouted across the room. He was in the bathroom.

“Um… are you sure I’m not like a burden to you?” he said shyly, coming out of the bathroom.

“No, not at all! You wanna go? Zack and Rian are very nice, really.” He tilted his head a little bit and thought about it, making his thinking face. It consisted of scrunching up his face, wrinkling his little nose and raising his right eyebrow. Adorable.

“Well, it sounds fun, why not?” he said after a while. I cheered and kissed him.

“I’ll text Rian, get ready to go then,” I announced. He nodded.
