The Morning After (Jack POV)
Jack POV
When I woke up the next morning, my butt hurt. A lot. I winced when I tried to turn around to get some water from the nightstand. It was 6 am, I needed to be at work at 7.30. Work. I had a job. I could say “I’m going to work.” It felt great. I had actually something I could live from.
I nudged Alex to get him to wake up a little. I wanted to ask him what to do about my butt. He finally groaned and rolled away from me. I pulled at his shoulder to get him to turn back to me. He did without costing me too much of an effort. He sleepily opened his eyes and gave me a little kiss on my nose.
“Hello, Egyptian deity,” he whispered.
“Alex, my butt hurts…” I whined.
“Would you say you’re… butthurt?” he said with a big grin. I slapped him and pouted.
“You made me feel like this, now help me! I can’t go to work like this, I’m waddling like a penguin!”
“Penguins are cute, just like you!” he said with a smile and a kissy face. I huffed but had to smile too. “Now, jokes aside, I have some ointment you could apply. Get your ass out of bed so we can go get it,” he said, almost cracking up. I shot him a dirty look but couldn’t help but smile at his facial expression. We both burst into laughter.
The ointment really did help and I waddled around with the fact that I had lost my virginity yesterday a little less obvious. I made us a simple breakfast consisting of banana pieces on toast with a bit of maple syrup on top. Alex loved it.
“You make me eat so much healthier, thank you,” he remarked. I smiled and kissed him.
I got my stuff together and left the house before Alex had to. He slapped me on the bum when I walked out the door.
I flipped him off jokingly. “Kiss my ass…” I said with a wink. He mouthed an “I’d love to,” just before I left and I couldn’t help but grin. That was my boyfriend.
