Three

The next morning, I woke up late in the morning. I went downstairs to find Mina in her high chair by the island sharing cheesy scrambled eggs with Jack. I went to the coffee pot and poured me a cup before I sat in a stool next to Mina.
"How are the eggs sweetie," I asked. She replied with a thumbs up.
"See I can cook," Jack playfully pointed out he wasn't totally useless around the house.
"I never doubted you," I replied. Mina was too precious. She was so much like me physically, but her personality was on the same wavelength as Jack.
"Mina do you want to show mommy the picture we drew together," Jack asked. Mina nodded. Jack put her on the ground and she ran to the living room. She came back with a piece of paper. I kneeled so she could show me it.
"Who's this," I poined at the picture and she tapped on my arm in response, "It's so pretty Mina. You and Daddu did a good job. How about you put it up on the fridge."
"Your mom is on her way here. I called her this morning when I woke up with Mina," Jack told me.
"I'll try to be more careful so I don't worry Mina. I didn't mean to scare her last night," I sat back in my stool and finished my coffee. Alex strolled into with bed hair and poured himself a cup of joe.
"Everything alright Alex," Jack asked.
"Yeah. I overslept today. I was supposed to go with Lisa to the house to meet with our insurence agent. She left a note saying that was going to let me get some sleep and she could handle to meeting today," Alex explained before he took a good sip from his mug. Mina went running past us into the living room and came back to Alex's side with another piece of paper.
"Alex I think she has something for you," Jack noticed.
"What's this Mina? A picture for me," Alex asked. Mina nodded, "Who's that?"
"Tell Uncle Alex who's in the picture baby girl," Jack encouraged her. Mina tappe dthe back of Alex's left hand on his rose tattoo.
"Awe thank you Mina. I'll get this masterpiece framed and I'll hang up in my new house," Mina hugged Alex before she took off to her play room.
"And there she goes to cause trouble," I sighed at how cute she was now.

Jack went out with Alex to get my mom from the airport at noon. I decided to set up the dvd player with Winnie the Pooh to watch it with Mina.
"Mina do you want to watch Winnie the Pooh," I heard her little feet come running. I scooped her up into my lap and hit play on the movie.
By the halfway point of the movie, Mina was sound asleep in her nap. She was sprawled out on my lap. Her breathing was very level and relaxing to watch. Her thick black looks she got from Jack were everywhere. I started to brush her hair out of her face when she started to stir. She must have heard Jack's car pulling up in the drive.
"There's my grand baby," my mom greeted as Mina ran to give her a hug.
"How was your flight Mom," I asked as I stood up.
"Quick to say the least. I got lucky with good weather for flying. How are feeling," she asked me.
"Exhausted. I've been chasing my nearly two year old everywhere," I sighed as she hugged me tightly.
"You'll get used to it soon and you'll be able to keep up. Now I need you to point me to my room so I can get muscles here to put my bags away," she pointed at Jack and Alex, both carrying three bags each.
"How long were you palnning to stay Mom," I asked her.
"I'm moving in," she dropped a bomb on me.
"You're moving in," I asked.
"Jack asked me to. He knew that if I were here I could help you with Mina and the house. Plus I was losing my house back in Baltimore. I wanted to come out to LA to be close to you anyway Mirela," I was shocked but kind of happy that my mom was going to be here with me to help me get better and to help me keep up with Mina.

Notes

Well this will be interesting. Elizabeta is moving in with Jack and Mir. Alex and Lisa are crashing in a guest bedroom. And Mir isn't feeling right. What's gong to happen next?

Well I know but I'm not telling any of you yet.
