Two

I woke early the next morning when I heard Mina crying in her crib. I dragged my feet into her room and I found that Mina was crying over the fact that Jack was collapsed on the floor. I put Mina down and I found teeth marks in his neck. I looked into the mirror on Mina's wall to find blood all over my clothes and on my face. I looked in my eyes and saw eerie, glowing caramel eyes staring back at me.

I gashed for air as I woke up. Jack was leaning on his elbow, brushing some of my hair from my sweating forehead. Mina was already up and in bed with us. I fell back onto my pillow, still panting to catch my breath. I haven't had a nightmare since I was pregnant with Mina. This was not a good sign.
"It's okay Mir. You're safe," Jack cooed. I sat up and MIna crawled over to wrapped her arms around my neck and planted a kiss on my cheek. She was worried about me.
"It was really bad Jack. I don't want to tell you about it until you and i are alone," Jack nodded in agreement. I got up, still holding Mina in my arms, and went downstairs to fix breakfast for us and Alex and Lisa.

I put Mina down for her afternoon nap and sat down in the living room with Jack, Alex, and Lisa.
"What was your nightmare about," Jack asked.
"I had killed you," I looked him dead in the face, "But my eyes were glowing like yours do when you tap into your wolf. But my eyes were caramel brown. I think there's something wrong with me."
"There's nothing wrong with you Mir. You're just worrying too much about something and it's getting at you," Jack took my hands into his, "I promise you that we'll get to the bottom of the dreams. Just don't worry too much about them for now okay."
"Alright," I agreed and we started to talk about plans for the week. That's when Mina started to cry upstairs.
"I got this. You stay," Jack went upstairs. He came back two minutes later, sliding down the stairs with diaper and tee shirt clad Mina as she held onto her toy wolf Rian and Cassadee got her for her first birthday.
"Jack I swear I feel like I live with two toddlers," I shook my head and smiled as Jack crawled around the downstair hallways and the living room with Mina chasing him everywhere, giggling and screaming with joy on her face. I got down on the floor and joined in on the fun.

That night, I was putting Mina to bed whe I felt light headed. Mina had to of noticed and started screaming. Jack got to the room just in time to catch me. I looked into his eyes and he saw mine.
"Mir what's happening. Your eyes aren't blue anymore," he was confused.
"Something is wrong with me. Jack we need to get mother back into LA to figure this out," Jack helped me stand up as Alex got to the doorway.
"Alex can you get Mir to bed for me. I have to calm Mina down so she can sleep," Alex took my arm and swung it over his shoulder as he took me across the hall so I could get to bed.
"Thank you Alex," I sighed as I got comfortable.
"We'll figure this all out Mir. You'll be okay," he reassured me.
"I hope so. Goodnight Alex," I said as I laid my head on my pillow.
"Night Mir. Sleep good. Mina's going to get you up bright and early tomorrow," I flipped him off before I allowed sleep to take me.

Notes

Something's wrong with Mir. Maybe Mama Lupei can figure it out. If not, option two is going to Romania to see Uncle Cosmin and Grandmother Lupei. Look forward to more tomorrow my darlings.
