Alex~~

Jack had proposed. Jack had proposed! I was internally flipping the fuck out. I was so happy, it wasn't even funny.

Our next show was in Essex, and I was quite glad. For one reason, and one reason only: to talk to Tom. I had told Jack that I wanted to talk to someone, but I hadn't specified who, so he agreed to come with me.

When we arrived, I was anxious to leave, but had to wait for Matt's approval. He let us go, and I dragged Jack off the bus and through the streets of Essex.

"Woah, babe. Slow down. Where are we going, anyway?" He asked. I just gripped his hand tighter and pressed my lips to his.

"You'll see, just wait," I replied, and Jack groaned. We were getting closer to the cemetery, and when we were just down the street from it, I made Jack close his eyes.

"I thought you wanted to talk to someone, not surprise me, babe," Jack said.

"Just shut up, baby. We're almost there," I said as I carefully read each tombstone. It had been a while since I've visited, and I kind of regretted it.

I spotted Tom's name on a tombstone, and I pulled Jack over. I kneeled down, and made Jack do the same.

"Alright.. open your eyes," I said as I stared at Tom's grave.

"Alex... what-"

"Tom... hi," I said softly. Jack stayed quiet, and he gripped my arm.

"Tommy... this is Jack.. I know I haven't visited in.. in a long time. Umm.. I'm sorry about that. Jack.. say hi to Tom," I said. I looked at him, and saw him staring down at Tom's grave, his bottom lip between his teeth.

"Hi... hi Tom," Jack said quietly.

"Tom, I have some exciting news to tell you.. Jack and I.. well, we're engaged, and I love him," I said. Jack rubbed my back, and took a deep breath.

"I promise that I'll take good care of him, Tom. I have for a long time now, and I couldn't ask for anyone better. I love you, Alex. More than anything," Jack said. I looked up at him and nodded as tears filled my eyes. I bit on the inside of my cheek to keep myself from crying, but I couldn't keep it together. I wrapped my arms around Jack's neck and cried. I cried because I missed Tom. I cried because I was so happy about marrying Jack. I cried because I was doing what I love with the man I love.

"Lex.. it's okay," Jack whispered. I looked up at him through my watery eyes.

"I know.. it's just that... I love you, I miss Tom. Everything's perfect.." I trailed off.

"You're perfect," Jack said, and he gave me a delicate kiss. After a minute or two of kissing, Jack pulled away and stood me up.

"Bye, Tom. I love you," I said. I looked at Jack and he kissed my nose. He took my hand and I led him out of the cemetery, tears still falling down my face.

"Thanks for coming with me, Jacky," I said as I rested my head on his shoulder. He released my hand and wrapped his arm around my waist, and I did the same, curling my fingers around his hip.

"It's no problem, Lex. I'll do anything for you," he said. He kissed my forehead, and we headed back to the bus.

I don't think it was possible to fall more in love with Jack, but I did, and I was loving it. My life was absolutely perfect.
