*Third Person*

Alex & Jack loved each other, that's for sure. They had spent a little over a year planning their wedding, which had to be perfect. & to them, it was. Today was the wedding, & Jack was waiting nervously at the alter for the love of his life.

Now, you might be thinking, why was Jack so nervous? Because he was afraid he'd fuck something up, or that Alex wouldn't show. Just little thoughts to keep him on the edge was what made him nervous.

He jumped slightly when the priest said, "All rise, please." Jack's heart started beating faster at the thought of Alex behind those grand oak doors at the moment, and he couldn't help but grin when they opened.

& there was Alex, walking down the aisle with his dad, arms locked. Jack's smile widened, & tears pricked his eyes. Alex was just perfect. They both reached the aisle, & Peter handed Alex over to Jack.

Jack took hold of Alex's hands, his shaking slightly. They both stared at each other, smiling wide as the priest talked. Jack couldn't help the tears in his eyes, or the lump in his throat. He just stared into his lover's eyes.

Alex, on the other hand, was already crying, slightly. He sniffed, & Jack smirked, making Alex blush.

"Do you have your vows ready?" The priest asked Jack, who nodded.

"Alex, I vow to always... always love you, no matter what happens, because I know we'll be able to get through it, thick or thin. I vow to always be by your side, to always cheer you up when you're upset, because I hate it when you cry. I vow to continue living the dream with you, playing shows together, being with each other every day, anything & everything. I love you, Alexander, I swear I do," Jack said, squeezing Alex's hands.

"I guess it sucks that I'm crying right now, huh?" Alex asked, making everyone laugh quietly. Jack chuckled & nodded slightly, grin never leaving.

"Your vows?" The priest asked.

"Jack, I vow to love you forever. I vow to laugh with you, cry with you, be mad with you rather than at you. I vow to always be there for you if something is difficult or upsetting for you, & I'll try & make it right. I vow to endure every thunderstorm with you, no matter how severe or stupid that sounds. I vow to be yours, forever & ever & ever, because I love you so much. I vow to never get tired of your dumb dick jokes, because they're funny, & I vow to hold your hand wherever we go. I love you Jack, to the moon & back," Alex said, noticing the glossy tears running down Jack's cheeks.

"Jack Bassam Barakat, do you take Alexander William Gaskarth to be your lawfully wedded husband?" The priest asked, turning to Jack slightly. The ring bearer had started making her way up the aisle, & arrived before Jack said anything.

"I do, yes," Jack said with a nod. Alex picked up one of the rings, & he slipped it on Jack's left finger with a huge smile.

"& Alexander William Gaskarth, do you take Jack Bassam Barakat to be your lawfully wedded husband?" The priest asked, now facing Alex.

"Of course," Alex said, & with that, Jack picked up the other ring with shaky fingers. Alex held out his left hand, & Jack shakily slipped the ring on Alex's finger.

"I now pronounce you husband & husband. You may kiss the groom," the priest said, & Jack was quick to press his lips to Alex's. He dipped his lover, & Alex couldn't help but smile. This truly was the best day of his life.
