Jack--

After graduation, Alex and I went over to his house and celebrated with Rian, Cassadee, Zack, and Hollie. It wasn't a huge celebration, like our Graduation party was, but it was fun nonetheless. There was no alcohol, it was just the six of us... plus Alex's parents, but they weren't involved.

"Alex, I really loved your speech today," Cassadee said with a smile. Alex smiled as well, and rested his head on my shoulder.

"Thanks, Cass," he said.

After a few hours of talking, laughing, playing video games, eating, and a whole lot of making out, the other two couples left, making it just me and Alex. We were snuggled up together, with a movie in, and I was comfy.

"Hey.. Jack?" Alex asked quietly.

"Yeah?" I answered.

"What you said about me being 'the one'..... Did you.. did you mean it?" He asked. I smiled like an idiot.

"Of course I meant it, dummy. If I had the chance, I'd marry you in a split second," I said. I wasn't looking at him, but I'm sure he was blushing.

"Well.. I'd marry you too.. because I-"

"Because you love me?" I asked, looking down at him. He looked up and nodded.

"Yeah. I love you," he said. I smiled and shook my head.

"But... what makes me so special?" He asked.

"Because, Lex. You're cute, funny, you're hot, you're sexy without all your clothes on, you're incredible in bed.. but most importantly, you're you. That's the best thing about you, Lex. No one can ever be you, and that makes you pretty darn special," I said, making him blush.

"Thanks baby... you're pretty incredible in bed too," he said.

"Are you suggesting that-"

"No.. not tonight. I'm too tired," Alex said, making me chuckle.

"I love you, Lex. With my whole heart," I said softly. Alex giggled and pressed his lips to mine gently. We stayed like that for a few more seconds before we heard an awe from behind us. Alex and I both looked around and saw his parents standing there, Mr. Gaskarth's arm around his wife's waist while tears rolled down her cheeks.

"That was utterly adorable," she said, and I blushed this time.

"We give you our permission to marry Alex, Jack. Just wait a few years," Peter said. I grinned and nodded. They both left and I turned to Alex.

"Maybe I am in the mood..." He said, making my eyes widen. Alex laughed and switched the tv off, and he pulled me up to his room.

*Five Years Later*

Alex and I had sprouted the idea that we wanted to be in a band. We both knew guitar, Alex was an amazing singer, Rian could play the drums, and Zack was fantastic at bass.

We had gotten signed to Hopeless Records not long after graduation.. about a year after, and we were so excited when we found out.

We've been on tour for a few weeks now, and I've seriously been thinking about popping the question. How I'm going to do it, where I'm going to do it... when I'm going to do it. I talked to Rian about it, and he told me to take Alex on a date and ask him after, which I fondled over for a few days.

I was surprised to see that Zack and Hollie had stayed together, and Zack was so happy with her, it made me smile every time they were with each other.

Rian and Cass were still going strong... stronger than ever, actually. We've all come a long way, and I'm proud of all of us.

"Hey, Jacky..." Alex said from beside me.

"Yeah?" I asked, looking over at his gorgeous face.

"I love you," he said, and he ran out on stage. I smiled and followed him, making the crowd scream with delite.

"What's up, New York!? How are you all doing on this lovely evening tonight?" Alex asked. I looked over at him as the crowd screamed in response, and I saw his whole face light up. I grinned and noticed Zack looking too.

"That's how he looks at you, Jack," Zack said, making the crowd scream once more. I blushed.

"Shut up, Zack," I groaned.

"This song is called Lost in Stereo. If you know it, fucking sing it!" Alex said, and we started the song. I paid close attention to his voice that night, loving the sound of it. My stomach did butterflies when he went into a long note, and I couldn't stop smiling. Over halfway through our set, I couldn't take it anymore. I was glad I'd brought the ring with me, because I'd be fucked.

"Hey, we're gonna take a break so we can catch our breath," I said.

"We don't need a break, Jack," Alex said. I looked over at him and almost drooled, he looked so hot. His hair was sticking up in various places, and he had sweat covering his face.

"I wish I could make you sweat like that," I said. Alex blushed and I walked over to him with my microphone in hand. The crowd had screamed, and I grinned.

"Before this next song... I wanna say something. It's important to me.." I trailed off.

"Alex, you know I love you, and I couldn't imagine life without you. You're my everything, you're amazing at everything, you're looking mighty sexy right now, and I... I just love you to pieces," I said, watching as Alex smiled. He moved over to his microphone and he grabbed it.

"Well, I love you too, Jack," he said. I looked behind me and waved Danny over, who took mine and Alex's guitars. He was looking at me with concern. It was too late to back out now. I've said too much to stop.

"Good. Now come here," I said. Alex obliged and walked so he was stood just inches from me. I dug my hand into my left front pocket, and I left it there.

"What are you doing, Jacko?" He asked.

"Trust me, you'll love it. Almost as much as you love me, probably more," I said, and i sank down onto my right knee. I pulled the ring out of my pocket, and I held it up in between Alex and I. He gasped and covered his mouth with his hands.

"Alexander William Gaskarth, will you do me the pleasure of marrying me?" I asked, so nervous I was sweating more than normal. He nodded, and I stood up shakily, a huge grin on my face. I slipped the ring onto his left finger, and kissed him fiercely. He wrapped his arms around me tightly, and I did the same, hugging him close. I had tears falling down my cheeks, as did Alex.

"Oh man! They are so getting laid tonight!" Zack said, making the crowd scream, louder than they've done all night. I pulled away from Alex, who stuffed his face into my neck. I looked up and closed my eyes, so pleased with myself. When the screaming and cheering died down, Alex and I separated. He still had tears running down his face as he walked back over to his microphone stand. Danny brought out his acoustic and his stool, and I rushed over and kissed him before joining Zack and Rian backstage. They both clapped me on the back and congratulated me, making me grin.

"This song is called Remembering Sunday.." Alex said, and started playing. His voice shook when he started singing, and I was afraid he was gonna break down, but he continued through the rest of the song and Therapy.

I felt like the happiest man in the whole fucking world.
