Who Said It Was Gonna Be Easy?

I woke up a few minutes before my alarm so turned it off. I gently felt alexs forehead. He didn't feel like he had a fever anymore which was good.

"jack..get off me" he grumbled quietly.

"it's time to get up anyway" I pointed out.

"I'm too tired"

"get up"

"no"

"lex, you have to get up and go to school"

"I'm too tired"

"Alex..you can't just use it as an excuse to try and get out of going to school"

"I'm not trying to? I'm fucking tired"

"you can't be THAT tired"

"well i am. Leave me to fucking sleep"

"I can't, Alex. You have to get up"

"I was up at 4 o'clock in the fucking morning, jack. I'm not kidding when I say I'm really tired"

"why on earth were you up at 4?"

"because I was having a fucking panic attack just about everything and about going back to school because my lifes a pile of shit and I was up for nearly 2 whole fucking hours convincing myself not to go and cut because i didnt want to disappoint you again! So yeah, I'm really fucking tired and I'd love to just be left alone to get some fucking sleep. just..fuck off, please, jack!" he shouted before starting to cry.

"shit, lex..I'm sorry I had no idea. Why didn't you wake me up?"

"because then you'd have been just as tired as I am"

"lex..I know you're tired but I don't want you having another full day off. You've got finals this year. I have a free period 3. I'll come and get you then, ok?"

"Fine, whatever" he murmured. I dried his cheeks gently then kissed him on the head.

"I'm sorry I shouted at you" he said quietly, gazing up at me with his big, sad, brown eyes.

"that's okay..you just get some sleep" I tucked him in then grabbed some clothes and left him in peace.

I dropped back in to say bye to him before I left but he was already fast asleep, curled up in a ball.

Notes

Just a short one, mainly just a filler really. it's pretty shit but guess what!? It's finally gonna go back to alex's POV in like 2 chapters or something bUT YEAH.
