Do it for me

Rian stared at me as I groaned, throwing my pencil on the ground. “Stop staring at me, Rian.”

Rian grinned and shook his head. “Come on. Focus.”

I sighed and stared down at the paper on my kitchen table, grabbing my pencil that I just threw.

I was studying. Studying didn’t seem so hard, but it was. We had finals, and I needed to pass.

Rian grinned and looked at me, closing his textbook. ”Look, Delilah. You can do this. You’ll do fine, I promise.”

I whined and shook my head, closing my book. “I give up.”

Rian pouted, shaking his head as he grabbed his soda next to him. “Delilah doesn’t give up.”

“Who’s giving up?!” I heard a voice scream and I looked over.

It was Caitlyn.

I laughed quietly and shook my head. “We’re studying.”

Caitlyn widened her eyes. “Wow.” She muttered and sat next to Rian, smiling. “So, guess what?”

I raised an eyebrow. “What?”

Caitlyn giggled. “I’m dating Alex.”

Rian looked over, nearly choking on his soda. “What?”

I smiled and looked at her. “Wow. Finally!” I giggled.

Rian rolled his eyes. “Girls.”

I smiled at Rian and smacked his arm. “I have been waiting for this moment.”

Caitlyn smiled and nodded. “I’m excited.”

I smiled. “Congratulations, I guess.” I laughed quietly.

Rian chuckled. “Congratulations, Caitlyn.”

I heard another person come through my front door and I sighed, staring at the hallway. This time it was Alex, Jack, and Zack.

“Does anyone knock anymore?” I mumbled.

Jack grinned and shook his head. “Do we have to?”

I sighed and shook my head. “I guess not.”

Alex grinned and sat next to Caitlyn, wrapping his arm around her waist.

I smiled at Alex. “I told you, Alex.”

Alex rolled his eyes. “Be quiet.”

Jack chuckled and sat down and Zack sat after him.

I sighed and leaned back, pushing my books to the side.

“Are we interrupting?” Zack chuckled.

I shook my head. “Nope. Rian was torturing me, anwyays. It’s all good.”

Zack nodded and smiled. “Good.”

Jack looked at me and Rian, yawning. “We come to you two with a proposition.”

I raised an eyebrow and laughed. “Should I be scared?”

Alex nodded, winking.

Rian chuckled and looked at them. “What is it?”

Jack grinned. “My mother has a cabin somewhere in the woods and she said we can all go up there for summer vacation. For however long we want, really.”

I smiled and nodded. “That sounds fun. I’ll ask my mom, though.”

Jack nodded, grinning. “Are you in?” He asked Rian.

Rian nodded. “Duh!”

I grinned and looked at Caitlyn. “Is Bethany going to come?”

Caitlyn smiled and nodded. “Yeah. She said she would.”

I grinned. “That’s great.” I ran my fingers through my hair and yawned, glancing at everyone.

Zack smiled. “Should we all go to Ihop for some food?”

I grinned and nodding, standing up right away.

Rian chuckled. “You’d think I was starving her or something.” He rolled his eyes.

I grinned at them, shaking my head.

It was turning out to be an okay friendship with everyone for now. Hopefully this cabin thing wouldn’t change much.
