Do it for me

I sat in class, staring at the two people acting out some scene. I bit my lip, running my finger through my hair. After they finished their scene and the class clapped, the teacher looked at Zack and I, grinning. “Delilah and Zack’s turn.”

I stood up and waited for Zack to stand, walking to the front of the class. I played with my fingers and looked at the class. “This is act one, scene four.” I nodded and looked at Zack.

He smiled and took a deep breath. He started to speak his lines, and I replied with mine.

All I could think was what will happen when we kiss.

Next thing I knew, Zack rested his hand on my cheek and kissed me. It didn’t feel like Jack’s kiss. It didn’t feel like when Zack kissed me at the dance. I actually liked it. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him back, his hand resting on my waist.

He pulled away and gave a tiny smile.

The class started to clap and the teacher smiled as we sat back down.

I bit my lip softly, staring at the desk.

Once it was lunch, I got outside, looking around for everyone. I saw everyone and smiled, walking over. I sat at the table and looked at them, smiling. “Hey guys.”

Alex waved, his face stuffed with food. Rian gave a smile and waved.

Jack just sat there. He just ate quietly and didn’t say hi.

“Hey, Jack.”

Jack looked up at me and waved. ”Hey.”

I started to eat quietly and watched Zack walk up to us with Caitlyn and Bethany.

“Hey lovely!” Caitlyn grinned. Bethany waved and said hello.

Zack gave me a tiny smile and sat next to me, sitting his lunch tray down.

I smiled back at him and felt eyes on me. I looked at Caitlyn who was staring and I raised my eyebrow.

Zack looked at me and smiled. “Do you want to go to the vending machine real quick? I need to get a drink.”

I smiled and nodded. ”Alright.” I stood up and smiled.

Zack got up and we walked to the vending machine.

I started to pull my money out to get something but I felt his arm wrap around my waist, pulling me in closely.

I looked up at him and bit my lip softly. “Zack.”

He looked at me and kissed me softly, holding me close.

I felt hesitant, but I kissed him back, smiling against his lips.

“You move on quick.”

I pulled away and looked over at the voice. It was Jack.
