Do it for me

After a month of awkward silence and awkward hand holding, I had to talk to Jack. I felt like we weren't even together.

I walked over to Jack's house,biting my lip as I walked to the porch. I knocked on the door and waited for someone to answer.

Jack opened the door and glanced at me. "Hey.." He muttered.

I looked at him, frowning. "Jack..Can I-"

"I want a break." He said quietly.

I looked at him and frowned. I stared at the ground, nodding. "Okay.." I nibbled my lip and looked up at him.

Jack nodded."I'm sorry, Del. I just.." He looked down.

I nodded."I don't need to know why." I shoved my hands in my pockets,sighing."Bye,Jack."

Jack sighed."Delilah, your guitar should be here soon, by the way."

I nodded."Just keep it." I waved goodbye and walked off his porch, looking around. I looked down and pulled my phone out of my pocket. I called Caitlyn and sniffled, letting her know I was coming over.

"Baby. You don't have to worry about him!" Caitlyn handed me a blanket.

We were hanging out at her house, watching movies, eating junk food, just trying to relax.

I shrugged."He just..He was so plain about it."

Caitlyn frowned."Maybe somethings up with him?"

I shrugged and sighed."I don't know."

Caitlyn frowned and pulled her beeping phone out of her pocket.She threw it on the bed and sighed.

I frowned."What's wrong?"

Caitlyn shrugged."Alex wants a booty call." She muttered.

I laughed quietly."Caitlyn, just tell him that you want to be with him!"

Caitlyn frowned."I can't."

I sighed,shaking my head."Okay.." I laughed quietly."At least tell him you're busy so he doesn't think you're ignoring him."

Caitlyn nodded and went on texting Alex.

"We bring gifts!" A few voices screamed. I heard footsteps running up the stairs.

Alex jumped on the bed,scooting in between me and Caitlyn,grinning.

I looked at him then at Caitlyn."Why is he here?"

Zack walked into the room, frowning. "Rian and I are here too."

I smiled and waved."That's a little better.."

Alex frowned."That's very mean." He sighed and sat up."Girls.We brought lots of food."

I looked at all the guys and Zack sat next to me,handing me a bag of skittles."And your favorite."

I smiled and nodded."thank you." I grinned and scooted so Zack could lay next to me.

Rian took a seat on Caitlyn's bean bag chair,looking at me."Jack is really down about this."

I looked at him,confused. "He broke it off with me."

Rian frowned."Really?"

I nodded.

Alex bit his lip."He said you came to the house and broke up with him."

I sighed,opening the skittles."That's a lie..I came to talk and I could barely get three words out before he said he wanted a break."

Caitlyn frowned."Maybe he wanted to beat you to it."

Zack bit his lip,resting his hand on mine to relax me.

I sighed,looking at the tv screen."Let's just watch a movie." I muttered.

Caitlyn nodded,shrugging."Okay.." She grabbed the remote and turned on a horror movie.

I wanted to know why Jack lied about this.I wanted to know now.
