Three

"She's waking up," I heard Alex's dad inform everyone. I found my arm bandaged and that I was totally off and dead or something.
"Where's Jack," I asked.
"Backyard," Zack said as Alex helped me stand. I walked quickly outside and found Jack sitting on the wood swing attached to the tree. He saw me and we ran to each other.
"I thought I killed you," he cried.
"I'm okay Jack. I'm okay," I tried to comfort him.
"You should not have shown me fear last night. That set me off. It was like the wolf was showing you that he had dominace over you. When I came to I ran to you and gave you your cure," he was a wreck.
"Jack I'm okay now. That's all that matters okay," I was crying because he was.

I told my parents I went out for a full moon hunt and I was attacked by a wolf, but I killed it and treated myself with my cure. They called me in at school and I went to get some sleep.

I woke up at 5 the next morning and my wound was fully healed. I got my behind ready like usual. It was colder today so I wore a Blink 182 tee shirt, black skinny jeans, my favorite black cardigan, my lucky pair of osiris sneakers and some matching jewelry. I load my book bag with my finished homework and I drove over to Jack's to pick him up for a change instead of him driving to school.
"Are you kidnapping me Mir," he asked sarcasticly when I pulled up in his drive.
"How we carpool today," I offered up on the table.
"Why not," he got into the passenger seat of my car and we were off to school.

When lunch finally came, I went outside to the courtyard with my brown bag lunch and sat under my usual tree for shade. I rolled up my sleeve to look at my scars on my arm from the other night. Jack saw and he gulped loudly at them.
"I'm sorry you had to see them Jack," I apologized as I rolled my sleeve back down.
The rest of the day, Jack didn't talk to any one of us. He always looked sad too. When we all gather at the practice space I decided to talk to him.
"Jack are you okay," I asked him as I put a hand on his shoulder, he shrugged me off.
"Just let be Mir," he said silently.
"Jack don't let it eat at you. It will destroy you. The wolf is a demon in the conscious. Once does something against your character, it will eat at you until it's all that remains. That why it's a curse. As you let the wolf's personality try to dominate you, you lose more of who you are to it until only the beast remains," I explained to him.
"Just leave me alone Mirela for fucks sake," he yelled and I saw his become the wolf's. I stumbled back four steps before I took off.

I sat in my car crying when he came out to find me. I kept the car locked while he knocked on the window. I was so scared right now. I was losing it. I was never one to lose me cool and I was doing it in front of the human Jack.
"Mir please come back inside. I'm sorry for losing it back there. Please just come back inside. it's too cold for you to be in your car. Come on Mir," He begged through the window. I wiped my tears with my sleeve before I got out of my car. I walked past him and went to sit on the couch and waited for them to finish practice before I went back up to my car.
When I got home after dropping Jack off at home I plopped on my bed and cried into my pillow. That's when my phone rang.
"Hey Mir do you want to drop your rope ladder so I can climb up," it was Jack.
"Sure," I answered quietly before I hung up and opened my window to drop the rope ladder out. When he climbed in, he saw my red puffy eyes. And pulled me into a tight hug.
"I'm sorry for being a total dick to you. This kind of stuff is hard for you since you come from a background that deals with it all the time," he kissed my hair and continued to hold me tightly.
"When you turned, the screaming and the pain you were going through scared me. I never watched a turning that terrible. You can't take wolf's bane before you turn anymore," I sniffled.
"Then I can make that promise for you Mir," he smiled and I returned it, melting in his choclate brown eyes.
Before I could realize what was going on, Jack brought his lips to mine. I remained still in the kiss for a couple seconds before I began returning it. When we broke apart I stared at him in a daze.
"I couldn't help myself," he apologized as he turned to climb out of my window. I grabbed his wrist and I kissed him again. This time I wrapped my arms around his necka nd he wrapped his arms around my waist.
"I couldn't help myself either," I smirked after we broke our kiss.
"So are we an item," he asked.
"I think so. But only if you want to be an item," I told him.
"Definitely. You are going to be my date to homecoming," he beamed. I shook my head and kissed him again.

So that was fun. Jack's wolf is going to need some taming that's for sure. Luckily, Mirela is more than willing to do it for her boyfriend. I will soon be adding in her family and getting them on the trail of the forbidden lovers.
