Two

So the next day I wake up at my usual early time of 5 in the morning and I get my butt showered and my hair dried and straightened. I doo some simple makeup and I dress in my favorite pair of grey skinny jeans, a grey tank top, my lavender crepe top, some matching lavender jewelry, and slip on my pair of matching DC high tops. I grab my purse and I head out the door, taking the long way to Alex's so I look like I'm going to school, even though I'm ditching. I knew the attendence secretary wasn't going to call my parents since I called in a favor from her that she owed me.
I pulled up to Alex's house to find him on the porch waiting for me. I get out of my car and I head up to him.
"Glad you made it," he greeted me.
"I wasn't going to miss you guys going through the worst thing in your lives," I sassed. He replied by punching my arm lightly.
Once Jack and Zack got their butts to Alex's we moved to the basement and had Alex's mom look us in. I put my bag on the bar counter and emptied it out.
"Is that weed," Zack asked, being a little disappointed.
"No it's wolf's bane. Toxic to you, earthy and great in tea for me. Don't touch it, it will burn you," I then showed them two bottles, "This is wolfbane tea for me and wolf's bane laced lotion so you guys can resist the urge to bite me. If I get bit I will get very sick, I could die if I'm not treated with this," I showed them a small glass vile with a needle attached to it, "It's like an epi pen for me so I don't get worse than I was at the time it's administered."
"Damn hunters are well prepared," Jack noticed as he saw the silver I brought.
"Don't touch my ring or my necklace, they're made with silver and these are for me to touch with in case you get too close to the door. I'll be the lion tamer tonight with you guys," I took out my holster belt and garters and started buckling them on and loading them with my silver tools of my family trade.
"So the silver thing is true and so is the wolf's bane," Rian asked.
"Yes. DOn't worry, I won't use anything unless I have to," I reassured him.
"Let me have a sip of the tea," Alex's father said, "As the alpha here and as the strongest of us, I will be no match for you Mir. I have to weaken myself."
"Take a small sip Papa Gaskarth. Too much can get rejected from your body and have no affect tonight," I grabbed a plastic shot glass from the bar and poured some of my tea for him. He downed and started to cough like it was acid going down his throat. That's when Jack pulled out a shot glass.
"I want some too. I don't want to hurt you or cause trouble," Jack was dead serious. I poured him a small amount then what Alex's dad got. He started to cough just as bad and was making gagging sounds. He dropped to his knees and I fell to his side.
"Easy Jack, easy. You'll be okay," I rubbed his back as I comforted him.

I checked my phone for the time. The sun was almost done setting and the moon would rise soon. I put my purse into the laundry room and went to take my place by the stairs. The guys had all stripped to their underwear and threw their clothes into the laundry room as well. That's when I heard the first scream and readied my silver butterfly knife.
I looked to find Alex's wolf. He was a pretty russet with grey on his face. When he saw me he growled at me and stood his ground. That's because Jack was screaming. His dose of wolf's bane was making his transofrmation long and totruous. I ran to his side and rubbed his back.
"Mirela go back to the stairs," he yelled before bending over in pain. For the first time in my life, I was afraid of him. I went back to the stairs and watched in horror as he turned into a wolf with fur black as a shadow. I reached for my butterfly knife again when he started to snarl at.
"Jack don't attack me. I am your friend. We're best friends. Jack stand down. Jack," I screamed as he pounced on me and bit into my arm. He didn't let go at the taste of the wolf's bane lotion. He started to shake my arm like a ragdoll, tearing into my skin. Alex's dad's wolf jumped him and tore him off me. I could tell by how the white wolf looked at the black one, that he was lecturing him. I looked at my arm and saw all of the blood. I went into my many pouches to find my cure vial but my drop into unconsciousness stopped me.
