Four

For three weeks, I hung with Jack at his house non stop. I knew that if we hung out at mine, my parents would sniff him out as a werewolf and try to kill him.
"So tonight we need to get me my suit for homecoming. I want to be surprised by hwat you'll wear Mir, but I need you there so I can get the right color tie to match your dress," Jack explained as we all sat under our usual tree.
"That's fine. For homecoming we're going to get together in a limo I'll be Kara's Saturday after the game to get ready with the girls. You guys can get ready at Alex's and pick us up with the limo. After the dance we're all going to play laser tag at the all nighter," I explained further.

Jack swung by my place to get me for the pre-game tailgating. I said really quick goodbyes to my parents and rushed out the door before they could catch a whiff of Jack's wolfness.
In the parking lot, we sat on and around Zack's truck bed having a tailgating lunch together. Turned out Zack's school was going against ours. He decided he'd root for his school from the away team bleachers.
"Dude the cougars are going to kick ass," Alex trash talked.
"No man you are mistaken. Tha cards will be delivering the beat down," Zack talked smack back.
"Men and football," I teased and rolled my eyes.
"Hey," Jack play whined as he bent over to kiss me.
During the game, it started raining and I didn't bring a warm enough coat. I was shivering really bad and my teeth ended up chattering really loud. Jack took his coat off and wrapped it around my shoulders.
"What about you? You'll get cold and catch something," I complained.
"My body temp is a lot warmer than yours Mir. Besides, wolves have better immune systems. Plus I need you warm for tonight anyway," he wrapped his arms around me and held me tightly. He was right; he got a lot warmer then I remembered back in Junior year before I left for Romania for the summer.

After the game, Jack and I acted distraught when we went to tleave with our homecoming prep posses. It was hilarious.
I was doing my makeup while Kara teased and curled my hair for me. My nails were freshly painted black last night. I slipped into my black party dress and put on my matching jewelry. I slipped into my black platform pumps. I grabbed my black clutch and trench coat to meet the girls downstairs for pictures. When we finished taking our pictures, the guys pulled up in the limo. I swoned when I saw Jack all cleaned up in his white button up shirt, skinny black tie, black dinner jacket, black skinny slacks, and black high top vans.
"Holy shit! You clean up nice Jack," I was blown away on how handsome he looked.
'Well damn you put me to shame with how beautiful you are Mir," he gushed before we kissed.

After taking pictures of couples together and the entire group, we took off for the dance. We arrived and I could feel the bass booming from inside the gym. Jack pulled me out to the dance floor and we started dance on top of each other. I would have my back to him most of the time and he'd place his hand on my hips and I'd lay my hands on his. I'd even wrap my arms around his neck too. When a slower song came on, he'd spin me to face him and he'd hold me close to him by the low of my back and I'd hold onto him from his neck and shoulders. If it weren't for the help of my heels, Jack's 6'2" would have to sloach really low to my short 5'5".
I went to get us water when one of the jerk jocks came up to me.
"So did you see the game Romania," he slurred.
"I have a name asshole," I snapped as I got my cup of water.
"Answer me you gypsy tramp," he insulted me by calling me Romani and I was Romanian not a damn gypsy.
"Get off of me," I tried to push him off, instead he pushed me against the wall. He started to slobber all over me.
"You're going to be nice and take it slut," he barked at me like I was his bitch. I closed my eyes and I felt a breeze before I felt a pair of strong hands on my shoulders. I punched the source of the arms but my fist was stopped. I opened my eyes to find Jack holding my fist. His eyes were returning to their normal choclate brown from the glowing caramel of his wolf eyes.
"Jack," I breathed a sigh of relief and wrapped my arms around me boyfriend and hero.

When the dance was over, I was too tired to play laser tag tonight. We decided to postpone the trip until tomorrow. I grabbed my bag of spare clothes from Kara's and went home with Jack for the night.
"Hi Mama Barakat," I greeted Jack's mom when we walked in.
"Hello Mirela. Did you kids have fun tonight," she asked.
"Yeah Mom. Mir and I are going to my room for the night. We'll keep it down," he informed her.
"Just remember to keep it in you rpants sweetheart," she instructed Jack before she went upstairs to her room.
"'Just remember to keep it in your pants.' I love your mom sometimes," I snickered when we got into his room.
"Haha funny Mir," he sassed befoe he gently tackled me onto his bed. He started to kiss me all over the place. I had to grab his face to get him to stop.
"I'm tired. Let me put on my pjs before you give me good night kisses," I got up and he helped me get the zipper on my dress. I got into my jammies and he stripped to his boxers. We crawled under the covers and I fell asleep in his warm, safe arms. This was the best homecoming ever.

I had a blast writing the dance. Jack and Mir are total party animals later in the story. But in high school they cling and just dance. The little drama with the jock tool will have consequences since Jack channeled hin inner black wolf. Hope you guys enjoyed this chapter.
