Weightless ~

It was Sunday the next day and I stayed at home and watched tv. I prepared myself for the internship I had the next day. I kept thinking about everything that happened and why Linda left. I guess I didn't care for her as much as I did for Vic. My inner voice kept killing me inside. I needed to find a way to find out more about Vic's love life, but my way with words was horrible when I was nervous. I decided that the best option would be texting him. So I did.
To Vic: Hey, if you're free, do you wanna grab a beer, I wanna talk to you about sth.
He replied within minutes: Sure, when and where?
I told him to meet me at the boardwalk in an hour.
He wrote: Sure thing, see ya ;)

Maybe when we're all alone I will actually be able to tell him how I feel. Sometimes it all seemed very silly, since I've only met him 3 days ago. But then again, I knew that what I was feeling was real. I took a quick shower and picked out a plain white t-shirt and black skinny jeans with my red Vans sneaks to wear. I took a sixpack of beer out of my fridge and walked to the boardwalk, it just took me a few minutes. He arrived a minute later. »Hey man, where do you wanna go?« Then he saw beer in my hands and grinned. »I was kinda thinking we could go somewhere more quiet, like down the beach…« I hoped that didn't sound weird. »Yeah, sure, I was thinking the same, plus you brought beer, so yeah… I know a great spot that way.« He pointed to the right and we slowly started walking.
I just asked him how Jaime, Mike and Tony were doing, I wanted to leave my confessions for later when we sit down. A few minutes later we arrived to a peer, we were completely alone. We sat on the warm sand right next to the peer and opened a beer. »So, what did you wanna talk to me about?« He didn't hesitate. »Um, well, I-I just wanted to tell you something…« I sighed. »And I also have a question.« He took a sip of beer and looked at me with those big beautiful brown eyes. »Sure, shoot.« He smiled.
I felt like pasta – all squishy and red. »Um, I wanted to ask you, if you have a girlfriend.« He raised his right eyebrow and gave me a serious look. I completely freaked out. »And why do you wanna know that?« He asked, with a straight face, still. After a few seconds he just started laughing. »Just kidding! Man you should've seen your face.« I sinked my face into my palms. He patted me on the back. »Look Alex…« I literally felt my heart in the stomach. My palms started sweating, I was the definition of nervousness. »Why are you shaking, are you okay?« He put his palm on my cheek and looked at me all worried. I completely went with the flow. I put my palm over his, while he was still touching my face, looked him in the eyes and slowly approached him and kissed his lips. They were so soft. I felt how he returned the kiss when he put his hands around me and squeezed me tight. I broke the kiss and reached for my beer.
Shit shit shit I was shaking, even more than before. »Shit, Vic… I'm sorry…« He touched my face again, but playfully. »Don't be, did I say I didn't like it?« I turned to him and smiled. He smiled back and made me melt. I was addicted to it. »So, you said you wanted to tell me something…« He teased and winked. I looked down and grinned. »Ha, damn.« He poked me with a finger. »I think you wanted to tell me you like me, am I right.«
I had nothing else to say, I nodded and layed down on the sand, holding my beer in my left hand. Vic joined me and put his hand in mine. I was happy, like I am at the time when I play music and sing. After a long time it was someone else that also made me feel special.
