Weightless ~

I waved while I was walking towards their table. There were Vic and Jaime and the other two guys that play in their band. »Hey hey whats up!« I greeted everybody. Vic grabbed my hand and pulled me to his side where he saved me a seat. »Oh hey man, you made it.« Said Jaime and tapped me on the shoulder. »Alex, meet my brother Mike and Tony.« Vic introduced us.
»Hey, nice to meet you.« They both said and shook my hand.
They seemed very nice. Mike, which was Vic brother, was heavily tattooed, had two lip piercings and black hair, just a little shorter than Vic. Tony was such a babyface, really cute, also heavily tattooed and wearing a snapback. He also had a piercing I've never seen up close before, it was right below the eye, on his left cheekbone. Looked pretty rad though, like a little diamond. »So Alex, Vic tells us you can sing.« He said. He couldn't be taken seriously, the baby face was still there, can't wait to see him play, lol.

»Yep, I play the guitar too, but singing is my thing yeah.« »So you're like Vic here. He's the lead singer to our band.« Tony continued. »Really? Yeah, I've heard him sing yesterday, I loved it. What's your band called?« I could see Vic blushing when I complimented him about the singing. I thought it was kinda cute. »It's Pierce The Veil.« Said Mike. »That's a cool name. What about the other bands playing?« I was really loking forward to the show, music is my baby. »Oh there are a few similar local bands playing, like Love-hate, Sleepless, and so on. You'll see, it's going to bang!« I loved how Jaime was excited and into the music he made, I could see the passion and I've always appreciated anyone like him.

They were a really nice bunch. We drank the beers and went to see the show. Their band only played like 3 or 4 songs, but they were smashing! And Vic winked at me a couple of times which made my legs rubber again. He's probably very taken and has the most gorgeous girl! It's almost impossible for a guy like him to be single, he was adorable. While I waited for them to join me off stage, someone hugged me from the back. I turned around, it was Linda. Shit. I mean, I like her, but I don't know why I hoped for that being Vic. »Hey eastcoaster!« She kissed me straight on the lips. I was a little confused and just stood there. I didn't return the kiss. »Oh, heey girl. Didn't know you're gonna be here.« I said still surprised cause of the kiss. She stuck to me like glue. Then Vic and the guys came by. »Woooow, that was the bomb. Did you like it Alex?« They were thrilled about the show. When I saw Vic smile I felt a little less confused. »The show was awesome! Loved the songs, you really have to play for me sometime.« What the fuck did I just say, play for me? Oh jesus! »Sure, no problem.« Vic winked at me again. »Who's the girl?« He then asked. I scratched my head and introduced Linda. »I met her yesterday, she knocked me over on her rollerskate when I was getting coffee.« Linda nodded, showing everybody her big smile and kept hugging me. I could see a little disappointment in Vic's eyes. I sighed and said to myself – Fuck!

The rest of the show was pretty good too, me and the guys had a great time together, though I didn't speak to Vic that much, but I wanted to. Linda was always holding my hand and touching my hair. I tried not to look frustrated. I mean I had a really hot girl next to me but all I could think about was Vic – kissing him, talking to him, feeling him pressed against me… shit. I wasn't even sure he was into guys, but it still felt stupid. I was pretty sure he was just being friendly when he winked at me and said he'd play for me. After a couple of minutes I saw him going to the bathroom so I told Linda I was getting us drinks and went after him.

I washed my face and looked at myself in the mirror when I saw Vic coming to wash his hands. »You lucky bastard! You've only been here for 2 days and you've already got a hot girl all over you.« He smiled at me, while I was looking a little sad. »Yeah…« I answered. »She's cool and all, but I'm not that into her…« Vic dried his hands and approached me. »Hey man, are you okay? You've been a bit off for the last hour.« »I'm fine, I just, I-I… forget it. I doesn't even matter, it already sounds ridiculous in my head.« Vic put his arm on my shoulder. »You seem really cool Alex, I like you, so do the guys. If you need anything, wanna talk about stuff, you can always call us, you can always call me. Okay?« I felt somehow relieved and yet I said nothing to him. Coward. »Thanks Vic, appreciate it, really.« He looked at me and added »And if you don't like that girl, we'll just tell her you're gay or something, haha, lol. Don't worry.« I put on a sour face and grinned.
He put his arm over my shoulders and we went back. I was still confused, but as long as Vic was talking to me, touched me here and there, I felt good. So good, I haven't even noticed Linda was gone.

I don't want this to escalate too quickly, so I hope you still like it :) I've been puking a rainbow of inspiration for the last couple of days, have a lot of ideas so I'll be posting again soon... comments very welcome :)
