Weightless ~

I woke up the next morning, kinda hungry. I jumped in the shower, it felt good. Then i changed my clothes and went to grab some coffee from Starbucks. After I ate a croissant and had some coffee I was just right. I grabbed my cup and put on my sunglasses. I opened the door when I saw a girl on a skateboard ragingly rushing towards me and the next thing you know, she crashed into me and we both ended up on the ground with her on top. At least I didn't spill coffee all over myself. »Shit!« she cursed. »Are you okay?« She looked at me and removed the hair from my face. »Yeah, I'm fine. How bout you?« She got up and offered me a hand. I took it and stood up. »I thought I was gonna die!« I teased her. »I am so sorry…«
She was looking at me, a little insecure. »Um, Alex, and you are…? The raging skateboard!« She grinned. »I'm Linda. Nice to meet you and again, I'm sorry. I'm stil getting used to the new skateboard. I think it's a litle weird.« she said and smiled. She had long red hair and blue eyes. She looked so cute! I was asking myself if it's cool if I just take her number or something. »So Alex, you wanna grab an ice cream or something? It's on me, since I almost killed you and made you spill your coffee.« She fixed her shirt and hair. »Sure, you pick a place, I don't really know around much. I moved here yesterday.« »Cool, where did you live?« »New York.« »Damn, eastcoaster huh?« She was just teasing. »Come on, I'll show you around and I know this great place with the best milkshakes ever.« She picked up her skateboard and grabbed me by the hand. So I just went.

Linda was great, we spent like 5 hours together. That's pretty much the highest amount of time I've spent with a girl. I was kinda bad at relationships with girls, it was all more successful with guys. Yeah, bisexual here. I get confused a lot. There's something about guys that I find really attractive and I definitely function better when I'm with one. Girls are just, hmm, too girly. Exceptions are always present of course – which were all my past girlfriend, big exceptions, great personalities, it just didn't last and I was mosty doing stuff for college and didn't have all the time in the world. So I gave Linda my phone so she'd give me her number. She said she'll take me sightseeing. I was up for that. »Here, and someone texted you.« She saved her number. »Alright, I'll talk to you later, I'm off now. Thanks for everything and have a great evening.« She leaned over and kissed me on the cheek. »You too Alex and sorry for the rage attack, haha. I'll see you later!« »Bye babe!« I checked my phone. The message said: Hey there stranger! So the gig starts at around 8pm, but we're all grabbing a quick beer at 7, so you're welcome to join us then. Meet us at Mason's. See ya, Vic. My heart started racing. Shit. His eyes and smile were so memorable, they were still stuck with me. I wrote back: Hey man! Thanks for the invite, I'd love to join you guys, see you at 7. I went home, tonight I wanted to look good. And I gotta finish unpacking.

I was fucking nervous, but looking forward to seeing Vic again. He was really nice and so was Jaime. I was curious what the other guys were like and I was really excited about the gigs, I needed to see some good music live and tonight was the night. I picked out my wardrobe – a striped grey/red sleeveless shirt, black skinny jeans and red vans sneaks, my favorite. I looked hot, fuck yeah!

It was 7.02 and I arrived to Mason's. I was searching for Vic in the crowd when I heard his voice. »Alex, over here!« I turned around and saw them. My face got all red, I blushed like a motherfucker, which I hope no one noticed. Vic was looking soooo good it made my knees weak. There was just something about him that totally fucked with my head – and it didn't even bother me.
