Why should I care who Alex hooks up with? I don't like him. Sure, we had a thing once, but whatever. He doesn't like me. He's a player and I already know that. But why did it bother me that some girl had her tongue down his throat. And why was Jack trying to hide it from me. I walked quietly behind the group of rowdy boys back to the hotel, my heels clicking on the concrete and I awkwardly pulled down the hem of my short dress. Jack looked back at me and smiled, an awkward, comforting smile. I frowned a little but accepted it as he slung his arm around my neck and we all eventually got back to the hotel room.
I kicked off my heels and sighed as my feet met flat ground. Bidding the guys goodnight, I closed the bedroom door and peeled off the tight dress I was wearing. Not even bothering to have a shower, I slipped on a large band shirt and crawled into one of the single beds. Soon enough, the door creaked open and Alex stumbled in.
"Have a good night?" I asked.
"Yeah, yep," he said awkwardly as he got undressed and ready for bed.
"I bet you did..." I said cheekily, a small smirk on my face, keeping the twinge of jealousy hidden. Alex's cheeks turned a slight shade of pink, and brushed off the question. I sighed, rolling over reluctantly so I was looking at the wall instead of a half naked Alex. "Anyway, night," I mumbled.

Alex's POV

Soon enough the days flew by, three Soundwave's down, two to go. Melbourne went off, practically every band stating that it was their favourite show so far. I was woken up the next morning by something thrown at me.
"Fucking hell," I swore as I opened my eyes, cringing as my head threatened to explode. I looked up to see what was going on, one of my shoes on the bed next to me. Nebraska was standing at the doorway with her arms folded, her eyebrows raised.
"Get up shithead."
"What's the time?"
"Quarter past seven. The bus leaves in fifteen minutes." She turned and left the room.
"Fuck!" I yelled and launched myself out of bed, shoving everything I could into my suitcase, attempting to ignore my headache. I groaned and gave up, sitting on the floor. I heard a slight laugh from the doorway, looking up to see Nebraska standing there again.
"Go have a shower. I'll pack it," she said, helping me up and pushing me towards the door. "And be quick about it."
"You're the best!" I blew her a kiss and disappeared into the bathroom.

Adelaide and then Perth, which was amazing. And now the airport ready to fly out. I didn't want to let her go. My arms were locked around her shoulders.
"Alex," she mumbled against my chest. "You can let me go now." I sighed and reluctantly set Nebraska back. "Have a good flight," she said and kissed me on the cheek. I smiled back at her. "You too Nebs. I'll see you soon." I was hoping to be back home after touring Asia as soon as possible, spending time there before tour with Pierce the Veil, You Me At Six and Mayday Parade. Nebraska had decided to go straight home and not bother with Singapore. I watched her watch us board the plane, soon out of sight. Our flight was at 2am, Nebraskas not until later that morning. I cleared my throat and walked next to Jack down the hall to the plane.
"Why do you do it?" Jack said, interrupting my thoughts.
"Do what?"
"Alex, I've seen the way you look at her. And yet you still go and hook up with randoms at clubs."
"Because... Because I don't even think she likes me. That one time was a one night stand. It meant nothing. We're both over it."
"How do you know?"
"Because..." He was right. Nebraska and I hadn't talked about it at all. I knew deep down that she wasn't just another toy that I could throw around. I didn't want that for her. She wasn't like those other girls, she was still in my life. What if I was breaking her heart?

I'm back! Soundwave was faaaabulous and ATL were bloody brilliant live, Alex is even more attractive in person! Hahahah.
