Advertisements (Alex POV)
Tiny bit of a trigger warning for a car crash.
Alex POV
It was a week after getting out of hospital and I was finally allowed to take medication again. I was careful not to take too much though. I didn’t tell Jack though, I just popped a pill every once in a while when I was stressed and each evening one to sleep. I had spent a few nights more without medication which had been horrifying.
I was at Jack’s house, watching TV but currently it was ad break. I was happily snuggled into his chest and watching this fun advertisement when at the end of it, a girl was hit by a car. Before I was able to react and get a pill, panic started attacking my body, tearing at my skin, pulling at my intestines. The hot feeling of pure panic was searing through me, disabling any movement. Flashbacks started pouring into my head, making me incapable of thinking proper thoughts.
“Alex? Listen to me. Focus on my voice,” I could hear Jack say from afar. “It will be okay. It is over. You are on a couch at my place and I am protecting you. It’s over.” I was getting a bit better, but memories were still torturing me. Jack wiped my tears away; I was crying hysterically. He held me tight while I tried to be okay again. I listened to his sweet whisperings, it helped a bit.
“Shh Lex, I’ll get you wrapped up in a cosy blanket and I feel like we should have some hot chocolate,” he offered. I nodded, not so sure about the part that implied him leaving me but I accepted it. He left, only to return with two cups of creamy chocolaty milk. I had occupied myself in the meantime with looking at my cuticles, doing anything to shut off the machine-gun shooting memories at me.
Jack placed the mugs on a nearby table and got the blanket. He wrapped me in it before sitting down behind me, allowing me to sink back into his chest. The hot chocolate tasted heavenly. I nipped at it some more, my head rested against Jack’s strong chest. I was almost back to normal now.
“Thank you so much,” I said quietly.
“Nothing to thank me for!” Jack responded.
“I love you.”
“I love you too.”

aaahh I really don't know? I get so bad with sequels, I still haven't finished Chased by the Future and also I'm really into Homeless right now.
I guess I can maybe make one chapter as a sequel and post it in here if I find the time to do so if more people want me to do it? :)
