I'm Gonna Break Down These Walls
Is This the End of Us?
Wow, I had forgotten how much I liked this girl. Her name was JoAnn and she was so funny, sweet, cute, and lovable. I used to have the biggest crush on her back in like 7th grade or something, and now I remember why. I had completely forgotten about Cindy until dinner time.
JoAnn and I were sitting at the table discussing our favorite bands when she showed up. She was in the food line and was talking to some kid with a bowl-cut when she started walking towards us with her dinner. Just then I saw it. That look on her face. When jubilation descends to misery. Oh shit, she was getting teary-eyed. What have I done?
"You okay babe?" JoAnn asked sweetly.
"Yeah just spaced out for a minute," I said. She smiled that special smile that only she could pull off. Oh god, she was beautiful.
It was about 7 when I returned to my dorm, only to be greeted with 4 kids in my room.
"Oh hey there Alex!" Jaime shouted over the loud music. "I invited some friends over. Hope you don't mind,"
"No man, it's cool." I was fine with it, but I wanted to meet these kids. If they were friends of Jaime's I might like them too.
"Can you introduce me to them?" I asked him.
"Sure! This is Tony," he said pointing to a kid with long hair and a round face. "He plays guitar and is obsessed with turtles."
"Awesome," I replied. "Turtles are pretty hardcore." Tony nodded with a smile.
"Alright now," Jaime was wasting no time with this. "These guys are Vic and Mike. They're brothers." Vic had long hair and a baseball hat on and Mike had several different piercings.
"What are you guys up to?" I asked.
"We're starting a band," Tony said with a smile.
"What's your name gonna be?" I inquired.
"I've got and idea but no one likes it," Vic said while raising his hand
"What's that?" I asked him.
"Pierce the Veil."
