I was nearly skipping around with excitement. Alex Gaskarth was his name. He blushed intensely when he talked to me. Oh man, I could just see it in his eyes. He was so into me. Or maybe he wasn't. Maybe he was just hot. I mean, it was like 95 degreed out today. Crap, I'm over thinking things again.

I didn't know what to do. In my confusion, I walked right into a student with a bowl-cut hairdo and a potato-shaped head.
"Oh my god, I'm so sorry," I said in a panic.
"No big deal," He replied.
"So what's your name. I'm new here," I added awkwardly.
"Oh, it's Rian. Not R-Y-A-N, it's R-I-A-N," He said as if he rehearsed it. I'm sure other people mispronounce his name.
"Alright, and thank you for that clarification," I said walking away from him.
"Bye," he waved to me. I waved back, as I turned into my dorm room.

All of Angela's posters were off of my wall and all my posters were off of hers. That was a good start to our relationship as roommates. I started to pack up a backpack of all the books, binders, and notebooks I would need for my first day tomorrow. Angela remained silent the whole time but when it came to Angels, silence was golden.
"I'm gonna go to the cafeteria to grab some dinner," I said. Still no reply.

I was greeted by Rian who introduced me to a few of his friends. Their names were Zack Merrick, Jack Barakat, and Matt Flyzik. Damn, I thought to myself, these people have some weird-ass names.He also introduced me to his girlfriend Cassadee who seemed like a very nice person.

I was also greeted by something else as I headed to my table with my meal. It was Alex. Alex and some girl I didn't know were all cuddled up at a lunch table, laughing and holding hands. I shuffled past their table as fast as I could, trying to hold in tears. The one person. The one person I thought I had. Left me. Oh why am I even thinking about this? I never stood a chance with him. Just because I like one of the same bands he likes doesn't mean he's gonna drop everything and date me right?

The meal I was served was absolute garbage but what do you expect from a school cafeteria? The crowd was fun to hang out with. I've got Rian's friends figured out. Jack: The absolute crazy one. The funniest person in the whole group and he wins the most likely to tell a dick joke in a serious situation award. Zack: Quiet and doesn't say much. However, when he does talk, it's hilarious. Matt: Extremely funny and has an insane borderline serial killer obsession with Disney. That's all I need to know.

It was so hard to think of a title for this chapter. And then it hit me like a freight train all like BOOM! There ya have it. I'm still including Matt Flyzik despite the tragedy that occurred.

Anyone remember when Rian had a bowl cut? Yeah me too.
