I'm Gonna Break Down These Walls
Let's Make This Last Forever
Everything was going right. I spent my whole Wednesday watching Disney movies, drinking hot chocolate, and cuddling with the love of my life. Needless to say, I was having one of the greatest days of my life. At about 6:30, I was getting hungry so I paused the movie.
"You wanna go out somewhere for dinner?" I suggested to Cindy. She giggled in response.
"Will it be like our first date?" She asked me.
"I guess," I smirked.
"Yay! Let me get ready!" She exclaimed. She was so cute when she was excited. She ran off to the guest room and I decided to put a little bit of a twist on dinner.
I went searching through my closet until a found it. My tux. I hadn't worn it in forever and I hoped it still fit. I slid the pants on with no problem. Which was a good sign. I put on my white button-up shirt with a sports jacket over it. I decided to garnish the outfit with a light blue bow tie to jazz things up a little bit.
I heard the four knocks on my door and opened it up to Cindy.
"Oh my god! Someone's fancy," she stated about my outfit.
"You like it?" I asked for reassurance.
"I love it! I feel like I should change into something more formal," Cindy answered.
"No! You look perfect," I assured her. And she did. She had on a pair of black skinny jeans with a My Chemical Romance tee.
We then realized that we needed a ride. I decided to ditch the tux as I wasn't ready to tell my mom about Cindy and I. I feel like it might be awkward because she's staying over. We got a ride to Red Lobster. I chose the restaurant because of two reasons. 1.) I wanted to treat Cindy to a relatively nice dinner.
2.) I love the cheddar biscuits.
Dinner was great. We got a chance to talk about anything and everything and I didn't realize that we had spent three hours at the restaurant until I got a text from my mom saying "I'm about to go to bed. This is the last call for a ride home." We finished up and left the restaurant detatching our entwined hands as we researched the door.
