Me Without You

I put on one of my nicer dresses and a pair of sleek back heels. I loosely curled my hair, wined out my eyeliner, and applied some red lipstick.

Alex was coming to pick me up in fifteen minutes and all I could do was wait. Zack had gone out with the rest of the gang for some drinks. Alex had told me that we were going to a really nice restaurant.

The minutes flew by and I found myself staring down the man I had fallen for. He took my hand and led me out to the street. My breath caught in my throat, there was a limo waiting for us. Alex walked to the door and opened it for me, gesturing me to get in. I slid in,smiling like a fool I leaned over and kissed Alex on the cheek.

"You're a real sweetheart you know that" I purred, he really knew how to make me happy. This was beyond amazing!

"I'm just trying to please my girlfriend" he smiled down at me. When he said girlfriend I could as well melt into his side.

"This better not be the only you can please a girl" I winked at him making him blush.

"I guess we will find out later tonight." He kissed me and I couldn't help but smile, "good comeback" I muttered into his chest as he pulled me into him.

All to soon we pulled up to a restaurant. Many people walking in had on gowns and suits. The restaurants lights illuminated the streets, "Alex this place looks so expensive" I gushed, he seemed to have put a lot of work and money into this date.

"It's nothing really" he shrugged as if we were just ordering off the mcdonalds dollar menu.

Hand in hand we walked inside. I have never felt more out of place in my life, everyone seemed so classy.

"hi I have a reservation" Alex went up to the hostess

"name please" the hostess said

"Gaskarth" he said in confidence

"well if you and your girlfriend would follow me please" she escorted us to the table and soon someone was here to take our drink order

"you're finest bottle of wine please" Alex said to the waiter

pretty soon our great date was over and were heading home. The limo pulled up, an overwhelming feeling took over me.

"Alex, I love you" I blurted, he turned to me first a look of shock and then his features softened, "I love you too"he said

I was shook awake by Zack who was already up and well. I had forgotten today was the day they were leaving New York.

"Alex told me that were going to drop you off at home and in a month were coming back to take you back to Baltimore with us." He filled me in with all the minuet details as I slowly packed my things waiting for us to tell another dreaded goodbye.

After a a few hours we arrived back at my house. This time I wasn't going to cry because I knew for sure this time they were coming back for me.

Alex ex was the only one that walked me to my door because he wanted "some privacy" before they left to finish touring.

"This is goodbye for now" Alex grinned taking me by the hands

"I love you Alex, come back quickly" I kissed him before opening the door. It hurt my heart to leave him, what hurt the most was that I had nothing to say to him. Nothing that could help display the love I had for him. Instead I let my silence and the moment itself tell how much I cared about him. I know it's pretty shit of me to do that but anything I said wouldn't help that he was leaving for a month.

I heard the the bus leaving so I went upstairs to take a shower. I started to run the water but before I could get in my doorbell rang.

When I opened it Alex stood in front of me.

"What are you doing here? What about the tour?"

"Screw the tour" he breathed cupping my face and kissing me.
