I had spent most of the morning on the bus, avoiding Paige. I hated the kid I was in high school, Looking back now I wonder how I could hurt anyone let alone someone as sweet as Paige. I had crawled out of my bunk laying across the couch. Rian came out after me and laid across me on the couch. "Really?! You can't just sit next to Zack?" I questioned. "You looked so much more comfortable." He said. I just laughed.

I watched Jack stumble out of his bunk, knowing very well he was so hung over. I watched him walk over to the cabinets pulling out a bottle of advil. He grabbed a bottle of water and took a huge sip swallowing the pills with it. Then there was a knock at the door. Jack threw his head back and sighed but went to answer the door anyways.

He opened the door and I heard her voice. "Hey... Is Zack in here?" Rian turned to me and I glared at Zack. Why was she asking for him? Jack didn't move or answer her. "Earth to Jack." She said. I heard her push past him and walk on the bus. I turned to make it seem as though I didn't hear her. "Umm..." She said making all three of us look up. She was gorgeous. From head to toe perfect.

"Zack, I still owe you breakfast... Did you wanna still go?" She asked. My eyes flicked to Zack, if he didn't agree I was going to. He dropped the weight he was using and stood up. "Of course, Yeah." He grabbed his phone and wallet and they both left the bus. Rian got off me and I sat up. Jack sat where Zack was. "She was so hot." Jack said. I rolled my eyes and stood up, giving a loud sigh with it.

"What?" Jack asked. I turned to answer but Ri got to it first. "He's jealous." "Am not!" I said back a little too fast. "Yes you are, admit it. You're mad at yourself for fucking her over before cause now you know you have no chance with her. Plus she just left with one of your best friends." God, Rian could read me like a book, he knew exactly how I was feeling.

I turned and walked into the back of the lounge to get dressed. I pulled on my American flag jeans and a black V-neck. I pulled on a grey beanie. I grabbed some socks and pulled them into the front lounge with me. I sat down on the couch next to Jack. "Is that rue do you really want her?" Jack asked. I sat back and looked at Rian, he was waiting on the answer as well.

"I don't know, I just really want her to forgive me." I said. "That's a reasonable thing to ask for." Jack said. "Reasonable?! Seriously?! If you want her to forgive you you're gonna have to break down the wall she has up. And if you do break it down, she's not gonna tell you everything at once." Rian stood up off the couch. Still ranting on with his speech.

"And as you know Gaskarth, I know the real secret of that day." Rian said walking into the back lounge. "Secret? What is he talking about?" Jack asked. I quickly slipped on my shoes and left the bus. I ran around the venue ignoring Jack's pleas to tell him what the secret was. I really did hate the fact I hurt her.

I walked up and down the sidewalks all around the venue. I would occasionally check my phone to see the time. I had gotten something to eat fro lunch by now. I looked at my phone and realized I had been gone most of the after noon, now I only had an hour before we went on. I headed back towards the venue.

I was kicking a rock around, mentally slapping myself for ever even telling Rian that secret. I reached for the handle of the door when suddenly it swung open. The door smacked me right on the nose causing me to fall to the ground. I was just about to yell out something like 'What the fuck?!' But didn't when I realized my nose was bleeding. "Oh shit! I'm sorry." That's when I realized it was Paige.

She kneeled down and helped me stand up. "Crap." She said, noticing my nose was bleeding. I saw her through the corner of my eye look around, I'm assuming for someone to help. But then she grabbed the bottom of her top and pulled it off. She pushed the fabric up to my nose. I tried to say something. "Don't you'll make it worse." She said, I didn't want her to leave me so I got quiet.

She pulled me over to the PTV bus and we got in. She sat me on the couch and ran and grabbed a cup of water and a towel. She moved her shirt and pushed the towel to my nose. "I'm sorry Alex, I didn't mean for that to happen." She said. I just stared, now being able to see her facial features more clearly. Those beautiful green eyes. "I shouldn't have pushed the door open so hard." She said pulling the towel away from my face to see if the bleeding had stopped. It felt like it did.

She dipped the other end in the water and went around my nose, she was trying to be so gentle. I was still lost in her eyes, and face. How beautiful she is and how much of an ass I was. She pushed a little too hard, making me squirm a little. "Ow." She flinched. "Sorry, I'll be gentler." She said. I must have started to get creepy with the staring on top of not answering. "I'm sorry again Ale-" "God, If you tell me sorry one more time." I said, I sounded naisally.

"Ok, Well just know I am. I would hate to ruin a show for your fans." She moved the towel from my face down to her lap, that's when I realized she was in her bra. I looked down not noticing what you would think I would but the scars that covered her stomach. "Oh, right I should put on a shirt." She hopped up going to the back lounge. She grabbed a shirt and turned around. I caught her arm from putting it on. "Did I make you do those?" I asked.

She bit her lip and looked at me. "I mean it started all my problems off." All? What other problems did she have that didn't centralize around me, and my actions? "I'm sorry, Paige." I said. Her face changed as if something came over her and she put her right hand on my shoulder to hold balance. I took my fingers and went across the scars. Her skin so soft under my touch. I came across different scars. "What does that say?" I asked, almost afraid of the answer.

"S-slut." She stuttered. My eyes went from her hip to her eyes. She had tears threatening the spill. "I'm so sorry, I didn't know any of my actions would cause anyone harm-" "Alex, no offense to the person you've become now but they broke me. Your actions changed my life forever. I'll never be walked down the isle by my father or get the chance for them to be grandparents." I felt horrible. It was my fault they were dead, and that she was alone.

I took her left hand in my right, intertwining the fingers. Our hands fit so perfectly as if they were meant to be together. "I'm so glad my cousin has forgiven me for leaving, or else I would have no more family. George has helped a tremendous amount. He helped me, along with help from Ali, quit all the bad habits I had. Including cutting." Who's George? I used my other hand to wipe a tear away from her face.

"I cut on my thighs and wrists as well. I also did the word worthless down my ribs." She continued. I ran my hand down her neck towards where she said the word was. Sure enough in all Capital letters was the word worthless. 'Slut, Worthless.' both words kids called her before she left.

"I'm so sorry. I swear I'm not that same guy anymore." "I know Alex, I've heard the music you've written. Plus the stories of you and your fans. It's just a shame all that good had to come at the expense of me." I pulled her into my chest and held her in a hug. She cried into my shoulder. It was nice her face fit right into the crook of my neck. I felt really bad she was the reason I changed, but glad I changed.

She pulled away and I realized she had a little smile. "What?" I asked, really confused. "You get blood on my shirt, from a nose bleed I started and I get tears on yours from a broken heart you caused. It's just a little weird..." "That you can forgive me this fast after being so mad at me for so long..." I finished what she was thinking. She nodded. "Well I'm gonna make it up to you I promise." I spoke up. She nodded again this time biting her lip.

I let go of her cause I knew if I didn't I would have kissed her. "I should get back out there for the show, you know." I said. She reached for her camera. "Yeah, I'm gonna take pictures." She pour some stuff on her shirt leaving it in the sink. We left the bus and walked to the venue doors in silent. We walked in. "Alex! Where have you been?! And what happened to your nose?!" Jack yelled running toward me. What was wrong with my nose?

I turned to Paige. "Yeah, I hit him with a door by accident and now you have a bruise around it... Sorry again." "It started to bleed but she got me." I said to Jack. He looked really confused that we were even talking. "Ok..." was all he said before taking my hand and pulling me off into the distance. I waved before I got out of Paige's eye sight. He pulled me into the dressing room. "Alright, What the heck?!" Jack said pushing me onto the couch next to Rian and Zack.

"What?" I asked. "Wait what happened to your nose?" Rian asked. "Paige pushed open a door and hit it. Now what are you talking about Jack?" I asked. "So what your all buddy buddy with her now?!" He asked. "Wait, who?" Zack asked. "Paige-" I said back but got interrupted. "Paige? What were you with Paige?" I turned to him getting a little aggravated. "She helped clean up my nose and we talked everything out. I promised I would fix everything that happened between us."

"How can you do that?" Zack asked. "I don't know yet-" "That's cause you can't bring back her parents Alex, or take back what she went through!" He said with clenched fists jumping off the couch and leaving the room. I wasn't expecting that. I sat back confused. I ran my hands through my hair. Fuck...Zack likes Paige.
