They curled Max hair and they made a base with light foundation, and a nude lipstick. Denise was looking the whole time and then she said that they should place some green, yellow and lime to begin with and the false lashes that had a little bit of blood in them. Max frowned when she heard blood but when they finished and she could look at herself in the mirror she just stared. She looked amazing and the colors was just… beautiful.

They played around with all kinds of color combinations and Max had a really great time. Until she started to feel that her eyes was itching and noticed how red they had become.
"What are you doing?" the photographer asked.
"I think I’m having a reaction to all the on and off with the makeup" Max said and frowned. He walked up to her and nodded.
"Yeah, you’re eyes look like hell" he said.
"Maybe we should call it a day, we have a lot of good pictures" Denise said.

When Max came home Alex just stared at her.
"Are you okay?" he asked.
"It’s just an allergic reaction to all the makeup today" she said and smiled. Alex looked at her and he didn’t look convinced.
"I was a face model today, lots of on and off with makeup" she said and looked at him.
"Okay" he said and nodded.
"I was planning on taking a bath, wanna join me?" she asked, since he was leaving for Canada in a few days and she wanted to spend as much time with him as she could. He smiled and nodded.
"I’ve actually already prepared some water for you, I knew you would be home about this time" he said and kissed her cheek.
"With some oil?" she asked and smiled.
"Mango, since I knew you like that" he teased and poked her cheek. she giggled and kissed him, before she hurried upstairs.

Alex got in behind her and wrapped his arms around her, and pressed her against his chest. Softly he placed a few kisses on her shoulder.
"You would tell me if something was wrong, right?" he asked.
"Alex, stop… I haven’t been crying" Max said.
"It’s really an allergic reaction?" he asked, and hugged her even tighter.
"Look at my chest, I even have the red spots there as well" she said. He looked over her shoulder and she did indeed have some there as well.
"Okay, I give up" he sighed.
"And yes, I would tell you if there was something. Okay?" she said.
"Good, because I don’t want you to go around and be sad… I want to be able to help you" he said.
"So Canada next huh?" she said.
"About that… Matt couldn’t cancel the tour in Asia, but he could cancel the american one we had after. So luckily you might not have gone into labor by then" he sighed.
"It’s okay Alex, it’s your job. Your fans… they need you" she said.
"You need me as well" he whispered and kissed her shoulder.
"Are you going to tell the guys?" Max asked.
"Not until after Canada, just before Europe" he said.
"Jack will probably be a bit pissed you didn’t tell him earlier… but Matt" she said.
"Yeah, but he can take it. I know that" he smiled.

Max looked at Alex and he was sleeping peacefully next to her. She was still worried she might wake up to him having an attack again. That had scared her quite badly and she was nervous to find him like that. She barely new what do to, and it was just pure luck she managed to calm him down last time. What would she do if she couldn’t calm him down the next time? What would she do?

Alex hugged her and kissed her before he headed out to the car where Rian was waiting. She waved goodbye and saw how they drove away. She felt a bit lonely but it was just one month before he would be home again for a few days. She just had to see it like that. Four weeks. Just four weeks.
