Denise and her plans
Max walked in to the stockholm Red office and took a deep breath. She knew that Denise wouldn’t be too happy about her being pregnant, because that meant she would be gone for some time.
"Hi Max, glad you could come and… Why are you looking so nervous?" Denise asked and stared at Max.
"We might have to talk a little, can we go… somewhere private?" Max asked and crossed her arms. She was now three months pregnant and she was starting to show a little. That was the reason she had a big jumper on today.
"Yeah sure, we can use my office" Denise said and looked a bit skeptical.

Max bit her lip and took a deep breath, and Denise looked at her.
"I got a new job for you, but I’m a little bit unsure how to do it" she said.
"Oh, and I have some new for you as well and… Denise, I might not be able to work for you" Max said and sighed.
"What? Why?" Denise asked and looked hurt.
"I’m… pregnant and… yeah" Max said and pulled her fingers through her hair. Denise stared at her and looked really surprised.
"Thank God and every goddess out there” Denise whispered.
"Excuse me?" Max asked, a bit surprised.
"Our new collection that I wanted you to do was our new "Mama’s to be" and I didn’t know how we would make you look pregnant without over editing you" she laughed and shook her head. Max stared at her.
"Mama’s to be?" Max asked.
"A complete new section actually, with nice clothes for pregnant women" Denise said and smiled. Max stared some more before she laughed.
"I guess I can work for you then" Max said.
"So how far are you?" Denise asked. Max stood up and pulled up her jumper a little and showed a tiny little bump.
"Three months only" she sighed.
"Well we won’t make the photoshoot before you’re at least five months, so before that I guess you will be our new face model for a while" Denise winked.
"Face model?" Max asked.
"Next week we are releasing a new makeup collection of eyeshadows, I guess you can take that job since my model for that called in sick today" she said.
"Is some God at my side and smiling today?" Max said and looked up in the ceiling. Denise laughed and said she wondered the same about herself.

Denise told her to come back tomorrow so they could have one whole day to play with makeup and take pictures, and Max smiled. She could still keep her work, even though she was pregnant. She picked up her phone and called Alex, since she wanted to share the good news.
"Hi babe" he answered and she could hear him smiling.
"You are never going to believe what just happened" she said.
"Okay?" he said and chuckled a little.
"So I went in to work today to tell Denise I couldn’t model for her, since I’m now pregnant and won’t fit in the clothes" she said.
"Why wouldn’t you fit, you’re like really thin" Alex said and sounded surprised and skeptical.
"I have a babybump now Alex" Max said.
"You have? Already?!" Alex gasped.
"Yeah, but enough about that and… Well she said it was okay, because she wanted me to do their new collection… She was just unsure how I should do it but now that I’m pregnant it will be okay since the new clothes go under the name ‘Mama to be’, and she wanted me pregnant" Max laughed. Alex chuckled again.
"Well I guess that is good then" he said.
"They won’t have the photoshoot until I’m at least five months pregnant and really showing, so for the moment I’m their new makeup model" Max said.
"Wow, is someone smiling down on you or something?" Alex asked.
"I am asking exactly the same" she said.
"Anyway… What do you want for dinner?" Alex asked.
"Dinner?" Max asked.
"Yes dinner, the meal you eat in the evening" Alex teased.
"I don’t know… Are you home?" she asked.
"We could go home earlier, so yes. I’m standing in our kitchen looking through our fridge at the moment" he said. Max smiled and bit her lip. She had missed him. Even thought it only had been a month. Ed appeared out of nowhere with the car and honked at her, and she smiled.
"Well I’m coming home now, see you in a few minutes" Max said.

Max opened the door and listened to see where Alex would be. She heard him upstairs in the shower and she smiled for herself. She stood there outside the shower and waited for Alex to finish and he let out a small shriek when he walked out.
"Fuck, you scared the shit out of me" he said and shook his head.
"Hello to you too" she said and kissed him. He smiled and kissed her back, and before she knew it he lifted up her shirt and looked at her stomach.
"You call that a baby bump?" he asked and looked up again.
"What? It is" she said.
"Nah, I would call that gas" he teased and poked her, and she laughed. He kissed her again and wrapped his wet arms around her, and she let out a small shriek.
"Alex, you’re all wet" she said.
"I don’t care" he teased and pouted his lips and kissed her all over the face.
