Demi’s POV

“You’ll never be good enough Demetria!” My father’s drunken words of harm and pain scream at me as I dash up the stairs as fast I can to my room to be with my sister and calm her down before anything worse can happen.

It’s been like this for as long as I can remember, always being put down and abused by the one who was supposed to love me.

Finally getting up the long, carpeted stairs I reach my baby pink room I share with my sister, Madison who cowers in fear in the small closet.

“Madi, it’s just me. Come out.” I say softly to coax her out of the small, secluded space.

She comes out, peaking out the door to make sure it’s me. Walking slowly she comes to me in the worn, tattered Barbie shirt I had when I was her age.

“Will he ever change Demi?” Madison asks me, sitting down on the mauve bedsheets.

“I don’t know Madi, I really don’t know. I hope he does though, we just can’t live like this anymore, it’s rough on you. I can take the pain but I don’t know if I can stand it anymore.” I say to her honestly. The pain is getting too much for us, I don’t know what to do to help us anymore.

After she says that she wants to sleep she walks over to her bed and I lie awake with my journal and razor blades.

“Dear Diary,
I don’t know what I can do with my life anymore, it’s like no one cares and I’m the only one who struggles the way I do. The boy I like doesn’t know I even exist and has a perfect life. I’d love to just have a little bit of glory in my life, at this rate it won’t happen and I’ll be stuck alone writing the stories of my pain through my journal and skin.”
I write as I slit my wrists and the blood flows out, then dropping the journal on the floor and passing out into a deep abyss from food deprivation and lack of blood….

Why hello everyone!
This is the new story I've been talking about!
I love Demi and Alex so why not write a story with both of them together?
Yes I know about the Demlex rumors from a few years ago and they aren't true but I wanted to take a step into writing a straight pairing as if you've read my other fics with the exception of a few characters in More Specifically, Me Maxine but it wasn't strictly straight since I added Jalex.
I really hope you stay tuned for more, the first chapter will come soon, I already have it written up.
