Summary
“I don’t know what I can do with my life anymore, it’s like no one cares and I’m the only one who struggles the way I do. The boy I like doesn’t know I even exist and has a perfect life. I’d love to just have a little bit of glory in my life, at this rate it won’t happen and I’ll be stuck alone writing the stories of my pain through my journal and skin.” Demi Lovato writes in her journal as her blood stained wrists bleed out.
She’s been bruised and broken by her own father physically and mentally, left to take care of her little sister Madison and with her mother dead what can Demi do? Her passion for singing just won’t take off and it’s her life, nothing wants to work out for her.
With Alex Gaskarth it’s the direct opposite, his parents love everything he does, his brother came over self harm and a suicide attempt. Everything just can’t get sweeter with his band taking off and he loves every moment of it.
Will the broken girl meet the limelight boy or will she have to stay with her broken family and struggle through self harm, bulimia and anorexia alone?
