"Jack, I can't do this anymore. It's not working, my heart lies with Austin's and I need to be with him. I'm sorry, but, please move on and be happy. Don't ever change" Alex whispered.

I watched as he stood up from his chair, planting a small kiss on my forehead. I couldn't do this, I grabbed his wrist and he turned back to me.

"Don't go" I begged, gripping his wrist.

"I'm sorry, but you have to let me go Jack" Alex replied, pulling his wrist free from my grip.

I watched as he left, driving away in his car. My heart shattered into pieces as I collapsed to my knees and sobbed. I don't know what to do. I don't know what to think. Until it hit me...I pulled my phone from my pocket, calling the one person I knew who was here for me.

After a stressful breakup with Alex, Jack is still trying to come to terms with never being with Alex again. Several times he threatened to leave the band, but realised music is his life. He tries to stay friends with Alex, but sometimes it just gets too awkward and too hurtful.

Wanting to get away from all the pain, Jack moves to Oakland and shares an apartment with Billie. But with all the emotional hurt from the relationship, Jack refuses to leave the house, turning into a broken down mess. It's up to Billie to try and get him to come out of his shell again and be happy.

Along the way, Jack feels old feelings coming back...old feelings for Billie. In fear of being broken hearted again, Jack decides to hold it back. Until one drunken game of Truth or Dare changes it all.

Can Jack trust Billie? Does Billie feel the same? Is it possible that Alex and Jack were never meant to be...but Billie and himself are? Is it density?

So basically, this has some relation to the Jalex I'm writing. But not a lot. Let's just say that, Alex and Jack weren't working out and it was only a matter of time before it ended.

Now the Prologue is going to be set in Billie's point of view. I'm going to set it back to a scene in my Jalex where Jack is meeting him at the airport. But there won't be any of the flirting like in the Jalex, it will be sort of a comforting feeling being shown.

However, you'll see what thoughts are going on inside Billie's head and you'll get to see how he feels first up. Compared to Jack's, it sort of just builds up again.

I mainly wrote this because a reader of my Jalex said she prefers how Billie is so much nicer to Jack xD. Her name on here is BringMeBarakat. And you should read her Jalex called Secrets And Lies it is the best Jalex I've read in freaking ages.
