Twenty-six.
Ashley POV:
The boys came back home on 24 December in the afternoon. Although it had only been ten days since I last saw them, I'd missed them. Especially Alex of course. He would be mine now for two weeks and I had really been looking forward to that. Believe me, it's hard when you have a boyfriend that needs to tour for months in a year. And now that I was pregnant, it was even worse. I just wanted to be with him, cuddle him, kiss him, sleep with him..
"Lex!" I jumped in his arms the moment he opened the front door. "Hey there." he said with a huge smile on his face. I wrapped my legs around his waist and kissed him deeply. He walked with me in his arms into the living room and put me down on the couch. I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him more towards me. "I'm so happy you're back. I've missed you." I mumbled against his lips. "I missed you too, baby. But now we have two weeks to spend time together. And after another two months touring, it's all over. And then I can spend every day with you." His hand slid under my shirt and softly rubbed my stomach. "You are going to be an amazing mother." he whispered. "And you an amazing father." I smiled and kissed him again.
We watched ‘Beautiful Creatures’ but mostly just cuddled and enjoyed each others presence for the rest of the afternoon. Around 5pm I decided it was time to get ready. Rian and Cass had invited us and the others over to spend Christmas Eve together at their place. “I’m going to get dressed.” I told Alex. "Noooo." he pouted and pulled on my arm as I stood up. "Rian and Cassadee are expecting us." I told him. "I don't caaare." he said and leaned closer to kiss me. "I love you." I kissed him back. "Love you too." "Good." he chuckled and pressed his lips against mine again. His hands were on my hips and mine were in his hair. God, I can't even describe what kissing him is like. It's like the best feeling in the world, it's addictive and I know I will never get enough of it. Our kiss went from gentle and slow to passionate and a bit wild. Alex's hands slid under my shirt once again, but this time with the intention to pull it off. I let him, although I knew we didn't have time for this, I couldn't bring myself to stop him. Alex stopped kissing me and took in my body. I sat on his lap now, only wearing my black skinny jeans and black bra. "Have I already mentioned how absolutely gorgeous you are?" He kissed my neck and I chuckled. His hands went towards my jeans, ready to unbutton it. I helped him a bit with that and soon I was just in my underwear. When he pulled me back on his lap, I felt his boner through his jeans. He kissed me again, softly biting my lip. "I want you." he whispered in my ear. I gave him one more kiss and then stood up. "Not now, Lex. We are going to be late." I stated. "Are you kidding me?" I laughed at his expression and took my clothes from the floor. "Actually, I'm not." "But.. But.. You can't leave me like this." he pouted, gesturing at his boner. "Oh yes I can." I told him, grinning. "Ashley Sparks, you are so going to regret this." He jumped off the couch and grabbed me by my waist. "A-Alex, stop!" I yelled as he tickled me. He knew I hated it when people did that. When we were little kids, he used to do it all the time when I was teasing him. "Please, Lex sto-op!" I tried to escape out of his grip, but he was too strong, like always. "Say the magic words." he said. "Noooo!" "Okay, that's your choice." he simply said and kept tickling me. "Okay! O-okay!" I wasn't going to win this fight so just like always, I just had to give in. "Alex, you're the best and you're perfect." I told him and immediately after I spoke those words, he let me go. "You remembered that well." He smiled. "Yeah, you just used to tickle me all the time. You were mean." I told him and he just laughed.
"Finally, you're late. Even Jack has already arrived." Rian said as he opened the door for us. "It's Alex's fault." I told him and Rian chuckled. "Hey!" Alex said indignant. "What? It's true." I walked over to the couch were everyone was sitting in and took a seat next to Emily. "Hey girl!" she smiled at me. "Hey Em." I gave her a hug. "Ashley!" Jack -who was sitting on the other side of Emily- pulled me into a hug as well, so I basically lay on Emily's lap. "Hi Jack." Zack was sitting on my other side. "Hey Ashley." "Hey Zack." I gave him a high five. Cassadee came from the kitchen with a glass of champagne and a glass of water. After handing the glass of champagne to Alex, she gave me the glass filled with water. "I don't think I could be pregnant during the holidays, girl. Do you maybe want something else? Like orange juice or apple juice or milk or I don't know?" she asked. "No, thank you Cass. Water is fine." I told her and took a sip of my water. Yeah, I must have looked really silly with my water but I didn't care. I was happy.
I looked around in the familiar apartment where Emily and I had stayed during the summer. It was the first time since summer that I was here again and it was a bit of a weird feeling. This was where it all had started. In the corner of the living room stood a nice Christmas tree, decorated with colorful lights. The presents that we all bought for each other lay under the tree. I was excited to open them, and I was excited for the others to open the presents Alex and I'd bought them.
"Time to open the presents!" Jack cheered when it was midnight. He walked over to the tree and came back with a wrapped box. He handed it over to Alex. "It's for the both of you." he said, a huge smile on his face. Alex unwrapped the box and gave me the honor to open it. "Oh, my god. Jack this is way too cute!" I took the shirt out of the box so everyone could see it. It was a JAGK shirt for babies. Everyone made an 'aww' sound and I gave Jack a hug. "Thanks Jack." Alex said. "Now you guys have to open ours." Cassadee said, getting her and Rian's present for us. It was also a small box but this time I unwrapped it and Alex opened it. "Whoah, you guys, this is so cool!" I laughed when I saw they were also baby clothes. Not a JAGK shirt, but a Ravens one. "Thank you." I said to the both of them. "No problem." Emily had bought us a pacifier and some baby toys. Zack was the last one to hand us his gift. And surprise, surprise, baby stuff! Zack got us socks and a cute hat. We thanked everyone again for their presents and then it was Rian and Cassadee's turn to open presents.
Alex, Zack and I had bought them plane tickets for a trip to London. Emily and Jack gave them a gift card for a photoshoot. Jack was next to open presents. He got mostly booze and condoms. Alex and I were a little more original and had bought Jack a new game for the xbox. Zack got a new skateboard and weights. Emily was the last one to open her presents. Alex and I got her a new hair straightener, Zack got her alcohol, Rian and Cass gave her the dvd collection of 'The Vampire Diaries' and Jack had bought her a pretty necklace. That was really cute.
We all had a great time that evening. We were finally together again, and not just on a stupid tour bus. The boys told us about their tour, all the crazy things they did and they talked a bit about the upcoming shows in January. I watched Jack and Emily the whole time and it made me smile, the way they interacted. They couldn't keep their eyes off each other and Jack had wrapped his arm around Emily. They almost looked like a real couple, except for that small distance between them. That small bit of trust that was shattered.
