Oh Life
Two.
Ashley POV:
I was having a really great time. During summer I hadn’t really gotten the chance to get to know Cassadee, too bad because she is amazing. I sat with her and Rian while Alex was at the bar, getting our drinks. “I’m going to the store tomorrow first thing in the morning to get your CD.” I told Cassadee, who smiled. “Well thank you.” “My pleasure.” Alex grinned while handing me my drink. “I wasn’t talking to you but, thanks.” I kissed his cheek as he sat down next to me. “Where’s Zack?” Rian asked him. Alex chuckled. “Flirting with some girl at the bar.” Cassadee rolled her eyes and lifted her cup. “Cheers.” “Cheers.” I smiled and took a sip of my cocktail. “Easy with the cocktails, girl. You’re my ride remember?” Alex teased. “Let her have some fun, I’ll drive you home.” Rian said to Alex. “Thanks Ri.” I said. “No problem.” He winked. Cassadee stood up and took my hand. “C’mon, I want to dance!” I almost tripped because of Alex’ legs and he laughed at me. “You’re already drunk.” I showed him my middle finger and followed Cassadee to the dancefloor.
We ordered some more drinks before we got back to Alex and Rian. I sat down on Alex’ lap and he kissed me. I smiled against his lips. “Come dance with me?” I asked him. He grinned and got up, leading me to the middle of the crowd with him. He held my waist and I danced with my back to him. I felt soft kisses in my neck and turned. “You look so hot.” He stroked my cheek. “And you’re so drunk.” He smiled. “True. But that doesn’t mean it isn’t true.” He made a new path of kisses in my neck. “And by the way, you’re drunk too.” I giggled and kissed him deeply. When I ended the kiss he stared in my eyes for a long time. “I love you so much.” I hugged him. We stood there like that for a while when he suddenly let go of me. “I’ll be right back.” His voice sounded angry and I looked in the direction he was heading. I saw him walking towards Jack, who was kissing Emily. He pushed him away from Emily and took him by his arm, leading him away from the crowd. I couldn’t see where they were going and what was happening. I thought about the looks Rian and Alex gave each other at the beginning of the evening when I was talking about Jack and Emily. I made my way back to Rian and Cassadee, he must know what was going on.
“Rian, tell me what’s going on.” Rian gave me a confused look. “I saw you and Alex looking at each other earlier. And now Alex was pushing Jack away from Emily and..” Rian stood up from the couch he was sitting on. “Excuse me.” He said and dissapeared into the direction I just came from. “Rian!” I shouted, but he didn’t hear me. “What’s going on?” Cassadee asked. “If I knew I would tell you.” I sighed. “Come sit down, I’ll order another drink for us. It’s probably nothing.” She said. I sat down and Cassadee walked over to the bar.
When Cassadee and I had finished our drinks, the boys still hadn’t come back. “Where’s everyone?” Zack came out of nowhere and sat down next to me. “We don’t know.” Cassadee answered. A few minutes later, Rian and Alex were back. I took Alex’ arm and pulled him away from the rest. “Tell me what’s going on, Alex.” He sighed. “Don’t worry about it.” He said and kissed me again. But I pulled away. “No, tell me.” Before Alex could say something, Emily ran past us, tears streaming down her face.
