Emily POV:

“I’m so happy you’re back.” I said to Jack. He smiled and our lips touched. “Dude, what the hell?!” Jack shouted when someone pushed him away from me. With a confused look at my face I saw it was Alex. He took Jack by his arm and led him to a more quiet corner. I followed them immediately. “Emily, you should go find Ashley.” Alex said to me. “No, I’m staying.” I answered, folding my arms before my chest. And then suddenly Rian was there to pull me away from Jack and Alex. “Let go of me!” I saw Jack and Alex arguing but I couldn't hear what they were saying. It looked like Alex was accusing Jack of something. A few seconds later Alex looked over at us, nodding, and Rian let go of me. He and Alex walked away and I stepped closer to Jack. “Jack?” He sat down on the small couch that stood in the corner and had buried his face in his hands. “Jack, what’s wrong?” I sat down next to him, but he still didn’t say anything. “You know you can tell me everything..” I put my hand on his shoulder, stroking it. “Can you please not do that?!” he sounded upset and moved away from me as far as the couch let him. And what the hell did I do wrong? “Tell me what the fuck is going on, Jack.” My voice was harsh and for the first time, he looked at me. “Emily, I messed up.” He said suddenly. “What? What did you do?” “I don’t know how to say this.. You have to know that I never ever would wanna hurt you, Em.” I was a bit terrified of what he was going to say, it sounded bad. “On tour, after an amazing show.. We went to a club to celebrate. It got pretty late and we got really wasted..” I looked away, I felt tears coming up. “You cheated on me, didn’t you?” I managed to whisper. I looked in his direction and saw him nodding slightly. I didn’t want him to see me cry. So I just stood up and started running. I pushed my way through the crowd, looking for the exit. Tears were streaming down my face now and I could barely see where I was heading. “Emily!” I recognized Ashley’s voice. I started running even harder, I wanted to get out of there. When I finally was outside I sat down on the ground. I didn’t care about it being cold and wet, I just couldn't stand up anymore at this point. “Emily?” Ashley kneed down before me. I looked up at her and saw a worried look cover her face. “Emily, what happened?” she hugged me and I started sobbing even harder. “J-Jack.” I managed to say. “What did he do?” She rubbed my back, trying to calm me down. “H-he.. he cheated on me.”

Ashley POV:

“H-he.. he cheated on me.” That was the only thing I needed to hear. I made my way back inside, towards the place where I’d last seen Alex. I was lucky, Jack was with him. I ran towards him and pushed him. He hadn’t been prepared for that, so he stumbled a little backwards. “Why did you do that?!” I yelled at him. He didn’t answer and I got angry. Without thinking I just slapped him in the face. “Damn it, Ashley!” his hand reached for his cheek and I felt someone grab me by my waist, pulling me away from Jack. “Rian, let me go!” Alex stood before me and took my hands. “Ashley, calm down.” He said. “I’m not going to calm the fuck down, that douchebag cheated on my bestfriend!” I was still yelling and struggling to get out of Rian's arms. “Enough, Ashley. We’re going.” Alex said, looking over at Jack. Was that a fucking concerned look? Jack was the one who cheated, not Emily okay?! He didn't deserve any pity. Rian let go of me and Alex pulled me towards the exit. “You’re so going to regret this, Jack Barakat!” I screamed at Jack.

Emily was still sitting at the same place where I left her, sobbing. Alex kneed down before her. “Emily, do you want to come home with us? You can stay at my place tonight if you want.” Alex said to her. She just nodded and Alex helped her get in the car.
