I'm Not Myself, I'm All Strung Out
I got back on the bus.
“What are you still doing here? I told you to leave.” Alex snapped.
“Get over yourself, I’m riding with you guys to Florida so I can fly home.” I explained.
“Zack, can I talk to you for a second?” Alex asked through his teeth and Zack nodded.
Alex’s Perspective
I was livid. Brooke had broken my heart and she still expected to ride on the bus?
“What’s going on?” I asked Zack harshly.
“Alex, cut the bullshit. You fucked her over. Not the other way around. Now you’re just butthurt that for once in your life, a girl isn’t falling all over you and immediately forgiving you. Grow up.” Zack ranted, shoving me.
I stood there silently. I didn’t know what to say. Zack was dead on. But I was still upset.

Brooke’s Perspective
When I walked through the terminal the next night, Morgan took me in her arms.
"I hate him, I really hate him." I sobbed into Morgan's shoulder.
"I know, hon, I know." she whispered.
"How can you just come to my rescue when I ignored you for almost five months?" I sobbed.
"You need it. It's the least I can do." she mumbled. She took me home and I went straight to bed.
When I woke up, Morgan had coffee and breakfast ready for me.
"Oh, and your phone's been going off for the past few hours, but I didn't want to wake you because I knew you'd be worn out. Plus, you're really grumpy when I try to wake you before you're ready." she smiled. I rolled my eyes at her. I opened my phone and I had ten missed calls from Alex and a missed text which read Call me, bitch. He called again before I could do anything.
"What do you want?" I asked.
"Aw, that's no way to address your employer, now is it?" Alex asked sarcastically. My stomach dropped.
"Employer?!" I cried.
"Yeah. You never officially quit, so you're still my servant bitch and I'm still your boss." he snapped.
"What if I back out?" I asked.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you." he snarled.
"What are you gonna do, huh?" I asked snidely.
"In case you've forgotten, you were my girlfriend. You were all over our website and the magazines for weeks. I could ruin you so easily and make your life hell." he hissed.
"Haven't you already?" I snapped.
"Not even close." he breathed.
"Fine. Make me work for you. But don't think this means I'll be nice to you!" I cried.
"Right back at you, bitch." he snapped and hung up.
"What was that?" Morgan asked, nibbling on an orange.
"Apparently, I'm back to being Alex's abused personal assistant." I replied with a sigh.
"Can he do that?" she asked.
"Apparently, he never canceled my contract, so yes." I replied, trying to stay calm.
"What are you gonna do?" she asked.
"No matter what he says or does, I'm going to be the best, nicest, most helpful damn assistant he could ever ask for so that maybe he'll realize he has no reason to mistreat me." I told her, a mischievous smile lighting up my face.

I've been stumbling across stories I've read, and checking them out again since I seem to forget them after it's been a while. This was one of those cases.
Reading this again, and after reading other stories on here and Mibba, I've realized that with my last comment, I was a bit off. Yes, Brooke and Alex's relationship was cute when they were together/sweet to each other, but reading it again, their relationship was a bit abusive. Neither is completely innocent, but the version of Alex you wrote in this took it to the next level. I realize a lot of it was because of his insecurities, what he dealt with in the past, etc., but Brooke didn't deserve any of that. When she did mess up, she definitely didn't take her anger to the levels he did.
Idk, I'm conflicted because again, when they were together, it was cute, but then it just got sad when they weren't. I'm not sure why she put up with as much as she did.
Your writing is still good, though. Just wish they didn't have so many downs in their relationship. It got really sad at a lot of points, and I just felt Alex didn't need to take it to the degree he did, I mean really.
I doubt you saw my other comment, but just thought I would comment again as an update and to possibly get you to see it.
