I was sitting on the gym bleachers with Cassadee during lunch just talking about music and she even sang me a song she wrote for Rian called "Original Love". It was gorgeous.

When we were on the topic of Homecoming, cause hey, it's in two days, I heard the gym doors open and then foot steps on the bleachers.

"Um, Hey, Jack."

Dammit, Alan.

"Uh, hey." I muttered while playing with my fingers cause they really were more interesting than him. Not even sorry.

"Listen, so homecoming is in two days and everyone on the hockey team has a date except for me and it would be an honor to have you as my date." he said, cracking his knuckles.

I could always lie, right?

"Um, I don't think that'd be a great idea... I don't even know if I'm going. But even then, Alan, you're nice and everything but I just don't feel comfortable going with somebody I don't know let alone can't see." I said softly and he sighed.

"Whatever" he mumbled and walked down the bleachers then out the gym doors.

"Jack!" Cass shouted and slapped the back if my head.

"What?!" I shouted back and she scoffed.

"You better be glad you're blind, Jack. You wouldn't of haved to see his face." she said sternly.

The doors opened again.

"What's with all the yelling?" a voice said and I smiled.

"Cause Jack is a jerk, Mr. Gaskarth." Cassadee said and I laughed.

"Just because I don't want to go to homecoming with Alan doesn't mean I'm a jerk." I said kind of directed towards my teacher.

"Well you did decline his date offer, Jack." Mr. Gaskarth said and I shrugged.

"Still doesn't mean I'm a jerk."

"Bullshit." Cass spat.

"Watch your language, Mrs. Pope. I don't tolerate that. You need to stay after last bell a bit for that." Mr. Gaskarth said in this weird tone and I heard Cass go 'Huh? Ohhhh' before actually reacting. Man I really hated being blind at times like these cause I knew they were mouthing something.

"Got it Mr. G." she said and I groaned.

"See you guys in class." Mr. Gaskarth said and I threw my head against the wall.

So I wanted to test out how uploading chapters would work from my shit iPod so I decided to try it out on a short chapter which is this one. ( so sorry if there are any typos)

Next chapter is the homecoming chapter!
